The restaurant is closed and has been for weeks. We weren’t notified until we showed up for our reservation.

When we arrived no one was there. We walked into the restaurant and it was dark with no one there to help us. It was obviously closed for the evening but, with it being in a hotel, apparently the front desk staff had no idea it was not open for dinner. Apparently no one paid attention to the fact that we had a reservation for that evening. They told us to sit and they would find the restaurant staff to serve us but we just left because who wants to eat at a completely empty restaurant that was obviously prepped for the next days breakfast?

Good place for a pre-concert meal. Interesting set-up for a hotel restaurant; but, it was a little like eating fine cuisine in a cafeteria setting. The food was worth the price, and the service was top-notch, but the rest of the experience was odd.

The food in this restaurant was tasteless and poorly prepared. I had a beet salad in which the beets were frozen - literally - and was served with a sweet raspberry dressing rather than the lemon dressing indicated - not a good combo. My husband, who very rarely complains about anything, thought his shrimp scampi was the worst he has ever had - no taste, no seasoning, no "sauce" of any kind. My short ribs were not "fall off the bone" but rather tough. We picked this restaurant because of its proximity to the Kennedy Center. We will never go back.

When we arrived the waiter informed us their credit card machine was down so we’d need to pay with cash. Not a great welcome but glad he let us know up-front. Drinks arrived quickly but there was no ginger beer for a Moscow mule. Food was all very good, except for the desserts which were part of the theater menu - somewhat dry.

Upon arrival, we were informed by staff the restaurant had converted to cash-only for the evening (due to equipment failure). The statement left us stunned and unprepared. Since management had our reservation and contact details, we cannot understand why they elected not to advise us in advance.

Very good food and service. Experience marred somewhat by fact that the credit card machine was down. Fortunately we had cash, but some other prospective diners were turned away. In my experience most restaurants have or should have contingency plans for such situations. We were fans of Notti Bianchi which previously occupied this space; this restaurant is comparable but perhaps not quite at the same level. Very convenient to Kennedy Center.

What a terrible experience horrible service 40 minutes to get a freaking ice tea and then our entrée and our salad both come out at the same time crappy crappy crappy do not go there
