This is our favorite Sushi restaurant in town. It is starting to be our go-to for celebration dinners. The only negative is that it is quite loud, especially when sitting at the tables - just hard to hear everyone in your party - but certainly not a show stopper. We always have a great time.

Service took so long we had to keep asking when we would finally get out checks. We had to have been waiting for almost 45 minutes after we requested the checks. Even with a larger party, it shouldn’t take this long. Drinks took about 20-30 minutes to receive as well.

I have been to O-KU before, but this experience was truly next level. We were there for my friend’s birthday and she asked for Omakase-style dining with our server Adam. Everything he chose for us was on point: edamame with sea salt and truffle oil, spoonfuls of toro and caviar, carpaccio (hamachi sashimi with mango, serrano, Thai basil oil and ponzu), the usuzukuri (salmon with pickled wasabi, truffle and ponzu), octopus which was grilled to perfection, three rolls and the lobster tail which was served with some veggies and shiitake mushrooms - with a sizzling plate where you could heat it tableside. Again. Everything was perfect. We rolled out of there full and happy!

Amazing sushi and appetizers and cocktails. The cooked entrees tend to be underwhelming, no where near as good as the sushi. I have tried three of the entrees now and am going to stick to sushi from now on. It was quite loud but we could have opted for a quieter table on the patio. Had fun and enjoyed the drinks for a birthday celebration. We have been there a few times and will definitely be back.

The visit was fantastic. The food, especially the rock shrimp, was excellent. The server did a great job, and the manager, Paul, stopped to ask about our meal. He was very personable and sincere. We will come back!

We came in without expectations for our wedding anniversary. We had a great service with amazing recommendations and when we mentioned we were commemorating a special occasion they surprised us with an amazing dessert. It became our favorite sushi place!

We had to wait a few minutes beyond our reservation time as they cleaned up a table, which wasn’t a big deal at all, but the hostess had champagne sent to our table as an apology/thanks for waiting. Little things like that, something they definitely didn’t have to do but chose to do, make such the difference in service. Couple that with EXCELLENT cocktails, food, and wait service, and I will be telling everyone I know to go to O-Ku!

First time going. Sake and drinks were great. The Hanger was by far very tasty and cooked to perfection. The emperor sushi roll was my favorite. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The hostess was attentive and lovely. We got seated right by the kitchen, I know its about server rotation but if the restaurant is empty probably don't want to sit at the poor table first, just something training could fix. Our waiter was very nice and came right over. The drinks were well made. The food is where it just is not great. I had the salmon, which was overcooked and some rice mixture, that was sticky and tasteless. I asked for some soy sauce because it was so dry I had to do something. The ladies I was with had bowls and the portion was large and it was "fine". It was not bad or delicious, it was fine. We had a nice time. The dessert was yummy. The waiter let us chat and hang out, the price was high and that is why I probably wont go again. It wasnt bad, but it was not good enough to spend money on that meal. I hope they raise up the level of the food.

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time on our first date and returned for the second time to celebrate our anniversary. It was just as good as I remembered. We tried a few menu items that we hadn’t gotten before and it was all phenomenal! Service was excellent! Ambiance was intimate! Such a lovely restaurant!

Staff always go above and beyond to be welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone seems to really enjoy working there and that isn’t even mentioning how great the food is. The rock shrimp and the emperor roll are the best!
