Oak Steakhouse Raleigh continues the legacy of the original Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, SC, with a modern take on the classic steakhouse. Located in the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, Oak Steakhouse offers an innovative approach to steakhouse dining, serving farm-fresh dishes alongside steakhouse classics. Under the direction of executive chef Todd Woods, Oak's menu highlights the restaurant's relationship with local farmers and purveyors. To complement the menu, Oak's expansive wine list features California Cabernet and Old World reds, including a selection of Italian and Spanish wines, as well as an array of artisan domestic wines. In celebration of Raleigh's local brewery scene, Oak Steakhouse showcases local brews alongside domestic and international beers. Classic and creative, seasonal cocktails are also on the menu.

    Very good tasting food and except choice of sauces. a very classic wood and leather ambiance with interesting lighting fixtures. Rather loud with many hard surfaces hard to communicate.

    Had a wonderful evening here! Date night with my Wife went perfectly thanks to excellent dishes and sides. Our server was knowledgeable and provided full attentiveness to our questions and needs. We didn’t feel the vibe, all too common these days, of ‘Eat and get out’. Highly recommend for any occasion!

    Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Very cool atmosphere. My son and I both had steaks. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious. Really wonderful meal.

    Our server was remarkable as we celebrated as newly weds! The steak frites were delicious, especially when paired with the Oak signature steak sauce.

    The food was excellent, and after my visit, management reached out. I really appreciate the follow up and the genuine commitment to customer service. That level of customer service says a lot about a restaurant. I will definitely be back and look forward to my next meal.

    Finally a steak restaurant with great steaks and the knowledge of how to cook them if you want "Pittsburgh" style. I had just about given up on that possibility but decided to try Oak. I can't express enough just how good this cut of prime beef was when properly cooked to medium rare with a real char on the outside! Usually my wife and I share a steak when we go to a restaurant like this but this time she decided to try their Tagliatelle with bay scallops and it was also excellent. It was clear why the restaurant was almost completely full when we finished about 7:45 and we look forward to returning.

    Given gift certificate to dine here so came with friends, not really a boutique steakhouse chain fan. All overpriced that I ever dined at over the years. Good service, home made rolls ok, over rated and I I prefer crusty french bread. Caesar salad NOT at all a Caesar salad, broccoli rabe!, a dressing that tasted sweet then turned spicy hot in my mouth! Was awful! Loaded with small crumbly toasted bread, very dry, did not care for,it all and was not a traditional Caesar salad as touted on menu. Deviled eggs w/ oyster were good, oyster Rockefeller tooo creamy, prefer taste of spinach and tooo much bacon. Manhattan is my favorite cocktail so tried it, more smoke ( literally!) than taste, toooo sweet for a Manhattan, J. Alexander near us makes the best, much drier to me as a martini. Filet was tender I had and friend liked the special beef Wellington since he never had one. Just too expensive but did notice was busy for a Monday night, do not understand how young people fill these expensive places and pay their rent and drink $18 cocktails. Ended up our gift card did not work, was told by server because it was by a third party ? but given to my husband as a thanks for a real estate transaction recently…will delve into that later…..better ambiance than Perry’s steakhouse here in Raleigh or Ruth Chris in my opinion, those places too staunchy and pretentious , will stick to J. Alexander, best prime rib there in town which this place did not have on menu but did show elk? Wonder how many people order that? So tried Oak because of gift card only but dislike driving and parking in downtown Raleigh so probably will not try again ….

    We were blown away by our experience! This team takes hospitality to the next level. The food was delicious and the playlist had some jams! The staff really helped make my husband’s birthday very special!
