    Platos muy caros, poco sabor. La atención telefónica en inglés aunque allí el camarero que nos acomodo fue muy agradable. El chico que nos traía las bebidas me habló de malas formas. El lugar es bonito y si te gusta la música en directo es genial aunque yo no buscaba tanto ruido para cenar. Ambiente puramente extranjero.

    The greeter on entering the restaurant was miserable, no smile or ‘welcome to Olivia’s can I take your name’ looked like she didn’t want to be there! Lovely food although 3 (c50%) of the dessert options not available, disappointing to see the drinks were greatly over priced Vs other local restaurants E12 for a G&T & E4 for water is extortionate & a surcharge of E1.20 for 2 drinks not palatable; singer was excellent.

    Having been here five years previously when we had the most amazing time, this visit was a bit of a disappointment. The welcome from the female maitre'd wasn't particularly warm and friendly and the waiter who took our order came across as hostile. The service was less than attentive, with the exception of a young waiter who has only just started, being the only one who smiled and showed any interest in us as customers. On a more positive note the food and drink was just as good as our last visit.

    Fantastic Sunday a lunch. The food was fabulous, great choice. The whole atmosphere is terrific and the singer was superb, very entertaining.

    Really enjoyed another great afternoon at Olivia’s. Our food was generally good apart from the roast lamb that was served to a couple of our party. Very tough and fatty. The rest of the food cannot be faulted. Always have a fabulous time and the drink flows all day

    we ordered pardon peppers while we waiting for mains they were like micro peppers they were so small! i’ve never seen such small peppers. we waited 1 and 1/2 hours for our food to arrive we asked several times where it was in the end we just cancelled it as it was ridiculous! the two tables next to us had similar experiences. the music and atmosphere is great but they should just not do food if they can’t serve it!

    Service was very slow and it seemed impossible to get the waiters attention as it was clearly short staffed! One of our meals was cold and had to be sent back but no apology was made and the waitress looked angry with us when she came back and put in the table without a word. Our chips were forgot, again no apology! The entertainment was good and drinks lovely.

    We had high hopes for this beautiful restaurant by the sea but sadly the awful service and mediocre food let us down. Grumpy welcome from the front of house lady, took ages for a waiter to take our order, then a further long wait for bread and 1 hour 45 mins for our main meal to come which was then below average. It wasn't particularly busy even though it was a Saturday night (23rd sep) and when we mentioned the wait we were simply told its not usually like this. We were offered a round of drinks but we weren't drinking so didn't really need them. Terrible singer like a drunk nan with a sore throat really killed the atmosphere. Gorgeous looking restaurant, nice position, need to retrain staff to give good service, get a better chef and it will be a fabulous venue!

    We had the best evening celebrating my 50th Birthday, the food was amazing, as were the cocktails. The live singer, was brilliant, overall our evening was faultless, we would highly recommend Olivia’s La Cala and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much xxxx

    From the moment we arrived the atmosphere and service was outstanding. Food was beautiful and then music was very entertaining . Was such a brilliant night we stayed all evening. Highly recommend.

    We were really looking forward to our visit to Olivia’s and Oscar( the singer) we enjoyed our meal. Good service. The singer just let the evening down for us. He did not bring any energy to the room he has a good voice but failed to provide the energy and atmosphere needed for a good night! We tried hard to get into the swing of things but he keeps taking breaks and is just lethargic! The best part was the cocktail bar manager he was brilliant!

    We waited far too long to be seated and in the end we had to go and find someone to ask if the table was ready. The food I ordered was average at best and some of the items detailed in the menu’s description were missing we asked about this and were told the items were not available? No further explanation. The place was lovely but on a corner near a noisy road

    Sunday dinner was as good as ever , you wouldn’t know Chef Steven was no longer there. Joseph was waiter was a great guy very attentive and kept the wine flowing. Definitely going back .

    Very poor overall experience. Front receptionist rude and seemed uninterested in booking us in or allocating our pre booked table. Lack of waiting staff for the number of tables. Seemed only interested in large tables. If couple or small group, probably best advice is to stay away. Eventually gave up waiting and left without eating. Best part of 100 euros wasted in taxi fares from Puerto Banus and back and not having eaten. If they want to keep their status, suggest they change reception staff and increase waiting staff. Only positive was the pre-drinks barman was great. Overall advice, don’t bother going.

    Booked in the same time as a wedding party which we were not aware of or told when booking. Got sat out the way but eventually moved outside. Waited a long time for a drink and when it came it was the wrong drink so had to wait again for the right one to come. Calamari wasn’t cooked properly. Main meal was okay but bill was brought to us before our plates were even taken away. Went to the bar after our food and was charged €26 for a gin. All attention of service was directed towards wedding party. Left early disappointed as we were looking forward to a good night of entertainment.

    Unfortunately the normal menu was not on, only the set menu for 85/110 euros which for price was not value for money the food was cold and not very tidy unfortunately, and we also go to Olivia’s when we are in Marbella , the atmosphere was fantastic as usual but food let it down last night. X

    We paid €180 deposit for 6 people, we were seated half outside and one seat under a wooden canopy. We met James argent, had a drink a few drinks and our starter, my starter was nice but wasn’t the same standard as la sala which we go regularly. It then started to rain a little and parasols were put up, our main course came and then it heavily rained! My drink was full of water, my food was swimming, I had my hair styled beforehand which was drenched, my clothes were drenched and all the seats, tables. Everyone tried to scurry inside to which the doors then closed! We were offered more food but we declined as we were drenched and needed to go and get changed. They allowed us to leave and not pay the remainder of the bill but to be honest I still don’t think it was worth €180. You should have a full waterproof canaopy for outside! Not happy at all

    We arrived to our 8.30pm booking .. our table wasn’t ready and we’re sent to the bar where there was no where to sit, finally seated after 9pm. We had paid the extra fee for the entertainment yet we’re seated outside on probably THE worst positioned seat in the whole restaurant and didn’t see a thing. The set menu was very very poor, terrible choices and when it arrived was very disappointing with taste and presentation, infact I didn’t even touch my main meal. Then the heavens opened and we literally got drowned , everyone rushed inside but because it was so full there was nowhere to even stand never mind sit. Our deserts never even arrived and at 11.50pm we left! We have visited Olivia’s on numerous occasions and it’s always been great , with attention to detail and excellent service. This time I literally do not have anything positive to say about the evening we had travelled from England for and we’re so looking forward to. It quite obviously was a very busy night and the weather couldn’t t be helped but I have worked in restaurants and hospitality most of my life, you can have the number of bookings and know it’s going to be extremely busy , you can make better plans if your seating customers outside and generally have a very organised team of staff to deal with these situations and ensure you have more staff than usual and if your taking so many bookings and peoples hard earned money it has to be of a higher standard. It was VERY VERY poor! Yet VERY VERY expensive!

    Very confusing menu for gluten free . Good job I asked the manager . What I wanted was no longer gluten free . What I did order I couldn’t have sides as only truffle mash is gluten free .?. I wanted the mango and coconut dessert which didn’t have wheat symbol On menu to then be told it’s not actually gluten free .Very very confusing and I coyid have been really poorly and spoilt my holiday

    It was like eating in a disco, the staff did not understand you, nor could you talk to each other so loud was the music. If you commented on this, they looked at you as if you were not right in the head. Owner should make a choice between a restaurant or a nightclub but not both at the same time. We had been coming here for five years but no more. Very unfortunate because it was always pleasant. But no more, unless you don't want to have a conversation or leave hoarse and with squeaky ears.

    Had an amazing time and had a pic with Elliot It was our anniversary and went all out to make it special with a glass of bubbly. The food was amazing especially black pasta with squid ink prawns. And pil pil scallops and prawns for starters. Thank you so much hopefully see you soon 🥰

    From the minute we walked in the service was excellent. Food was lovely we could not fault it. We finished our evening in the sky bar, again the service was outstanding. All staff make you feel very welcome they are all friendly and do a great job. Would highly recommend Olivia's to anyone.

    We come here every year and it gets better and better every time , the staff are amazing and Elliott makes every single customer feel welcome and always has time to talk to everyone . Would highly recommend to couples and groups of all ages
