Información sobre este restaurante

We are the only Italian restaurant in Sydney, most likely in Australia and probably even in the world where the menu changes monthly travelling around the 20 different regions of Italy. Every month you can expect a regional menu either inspired by or directly lifted straight from the traditional recipes of an Italian region. Once a month we match wines with a 5 course regional menu. 5 wines/5 courses. See our website for more info. A small blackboard menu is explained in detail to each table by our attentive staff. Our wine list is full of organic, biodynamic or traditionally made wines ensures matching with our menu with local and Italian varietals.

The distilled projection of Ombretta in a few words:
Fresh, Seasonal, Cucina Povera. These words go together naturally, therefore the objective is clear. The menu at Ombretta dictates the experience for diners and staff.
