Pacific Eating house is a restaurant serving Pacific Rim inspired cusines. The place offers left coast wines, local beers, and tiki libations. The Eating House has comfortable furnishing and is the perfect setting for a casual yet classy dining experience. Pacific Eating House is currently open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. Happy hour is daily from 3 to 5pm.

Some of the fan favorites include the Encinitas tacos, bibimbap, and the Pacific cod and chips. The restaurant serves scrumptious appetizers, sides, soups, salads, and desserts as well. Easy to get to, just a few minutes West of the I-680 Pacific exit.

Didn’t get most of what we ordered (sparkling water had to ask mid meal, appetizer and salad never delivered). And what did come……meat and potato items were cold. They offered to remake, but was already a bad experience and I did not want to prolong the misery. Comped the meal, but not a very nice celebratory dinner for my sons 50th birthday.

I know the place can get busy, so glad they have a reservation option. Place was packed in a Wednesday night. Took advantage of their restaurant week menu. Meal was pretty good, wife was surprised shrimp was breaded and fried. Didn't notice that on the menu, and that was a deal breaker for her. Not a fan. Soup was great though. Couldn't enjoy dessert, had to pick up the kids from a sitter. Had thought 80 minutes would be long enough for a meal, but apparently was too long as had to jet before dessert due to long waits. Goes back to the old adage... "I quit going there because it became too popular!"

We really expected better from the restaurant week menu. Our waiter didn't tell us about substitutions until after the fact, either. It wasn't a bad experience, just very mediocre and we'd been looking forward to the restaurant week experience. There wasn't anything bad to say but there wasn't anything very good, either.

A little too much sauce on the two entrees we tried. They were good, but would have been better if we’d been able to taste the seafood a bit more. Service was great and overall, a nice place. We’ll be back to try some of the other entrees that looked good.

This was my husband and my first visit to Pacific Eating House. Our wait person (I forgot his name.) was very friendly and quick. My husband had the fish and chips, and I had the bibimbap. Both items were tasty and prepared well. We would like to visit again, and try out other selections.

This was our first visit. We will go back. Food was good. Service was good. It has become very expensive to eat out at many restaurants. When people good out they should get good service, a clean dining room, and really good food.

We've had dinner here 5 or 6 times. Cocktails are always on point. Our favorite dinner items are Wailea Stew and Bibimbap - amazing. This last time I had the salmon which was just okay (ordered medium but it was well done and dry). Service is consistently good too. Atmostphere is nice, a mix of different types of tables and half walls for privacy and noise reduction, large windows, cool decor.

Good quality, but disproportionate portions. Fish stew maybe had 3oz of protein, almost all broth. Other dishes were solid.

Overpriced for what you got. Food was way too spicy for me. Loud and obnoxious children didn't help the atmosphere. Too bad the parents didn't seem to realize that. Beautiful restaurant and convenient parking.

Xavier our waiter was great and the food was wonderful! Highly recommend the Lavosh and the Island Twosome - the island salad has the most wonderful dressing!

So my biminpop bowl was so good and so much! The pier bowl was a little small so thankful my husband had mine to finish. 3rd persons dish of salmon and shrimp had good portions of protein but a little more greens would be good. Waiter was awesome and all the staff..amazing. A little noisy if that bothers you but hoping to get back very soon for outdoor seating!!!

We enjoyed our meals. The sauce on the halibut was a little too much, tasty, but there was so much sauce it overpowered the rest of the items on the plate. The Asian salad was yummy.

We went there for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday, and were not disapointed! Loved the atmosphere with the teal and blue colors and classy sea decor, and the food was excellent and beautifully presented.

2stars for the 2 apps we liked as well as the possibility that is a great place for apps and drinks during Happy Hour or lunch. Otherwise, you can expect Luke-warm entrees ($20-30) lacking listed ingredients and presentation. My chicken came out and tasted like the frozen teriyaki chicken breast that you can buy at Sam's or costco (soft mouth feel, overly salted, cubed, congealed sauce, etc). I had to send it back- never mess with chicken or sea food NOT at temp! They took it off the bill, but we paid for everything else that arrived (just fyi, every restaurant handles things differently). I couldn't believe the dinner crowds, but the level of dress expected and the cars in the parking lot don't match the experience. Like other dinners said, tables are small. We were also situated next to their computer/ ticket printer and I basically felt like i was constantly in the way every time a server came over to enter an order or grab a ticket. Advertised as a tiki bar, you can expect to pay $12-14/8oz mixed drink The Brussels/cauliflower app and the clam chowder are amazing! Worth checking out the happy hour and sticking to apps.

We love trying new places. I was excited to try it because I heard good things. But I was disappointed in the amount of food for the price. And the waitress did not check on us all that often. If it wasn’t for a gentleman we would have been waiting for awhile for a new spoon and more water. The gentleman was very funny and great customer service.
