Escondido al final de un pasillo, que da nombre a nuestro restaurante, y al lado de un cajero automático está el Restaurante Passadís del Pep, en el Pla de Palau número 2 desde hace más de 35 años.

Al final del pasillo encontrará un espacio acogedor que mantiene la piedra original de la construcción combinado con cuadros de pintores reconocidos. Este espacio cuidado junto al trato personal y afable que ofrecemos a nuestros clientes crea un ambiente distendido donde podrá disfrutar de una gran experiencia gastronómica.

Desde hace casi 40 años funcionamos sin carta. Dependemos de los principales mercados de pescado y marisco del Mediterráneo y Galicia. Para empezar servimos una selección de 6 o 7 platos para compartir en medio de la mesa que cambiamos en función de las capturas del día y de las temporadas.

El origen de dicha cocina se remonta a los 80, donde la Sra. Pilar, madre del fundador y creador del restaurante, creía en los auténticos sabores del producto de proximidad.

    Wow. What an absolutely amazing meal. The seven course dinner was spectacular with creative, flavorful dishes that did not overwhelm. We had sea bass at the end, which was as good as everything prior. My only additional note is that rather than four $ indicating cost, I’d put five because this was expensive with a nice bottle of wine and all. But I’d return for a special occasion without a doubt.

    Cute little restaurant with quite possibly the nicest service staff. There is a prefix or a la carte menu. Service was wonderful and attentive. The wines were plentiful and they made some great suggestions. Food wasn’t very impressive. We did the prefix, but potentially would have been better if we ordered a few individual dishes. 3 star for food. 5 stars for friendliness and attention to service.

    We booked this thinking it was Con Pep, where we had seen people standing in line the day before. We were so glad we made the mistake as this was one of the best meals we had in Barcelona. You have very few decisions to make - food just starts coming out. Tapas of various kinds - all delicious! Fried fish, salmon tartar, meat, olives and cheeses. Whatever is fresh that day. You do need to select a wine. We spent a little more and got one that was very good! For main course, you have two options / our night was steak and fish. Both were superb. You can’t believe you’ll eat dessert but we all did….the night was perfect, the waiters were accommodating - we will come back every time we visit.

    Warm reception and excellent service all along. Passadis del Pep took care to make it an unforgettable dinner/evening for our family. Food, as proposed by the chef was delightful, tour through the sea. Leaving us feeling light and well. Will come back with people I like, to share this marvelous experience .

    It was an overall great Barcelona experience but the food was a bit lackluster. I wish there was more food of substance. It was almost all crustaceans with the exception of a squid. Honestly my favorite part was the pre starter olives. But it wasn’t bad. The service was great and I kept saying I feel like I’m in a movie. (Being American in Barcelona)

    We went to ABaC the night before. Passadis del pep is incomparably better. The service was genuine and warm. There were no stories before each course, the food was just allowed to speak for itself and it sang. My wife does not - in general- like eggs, foie gras, or lamb, here she finished her plate. Some customers that were there at the same time tried to customize the menu, based on our and their reactions, don’t. Trust them and you will be very happy. They severe the best squid dish I’ve ever had. The only choice is for the last course if you want meat or fish. We both took the meat and were happy, but I’m confident the fish would have been excellent too. You also get to choose the dessert. If they have it, and you like cheesecake, go with it. Best cheesecake my wife has ever had. She loves cheesecake. It was a warm cheesecake. I had the tartan,which was excellent, and still wish I had ordered the cheesecake. We will definitely go again next time we are in Barcelona.

    What an incredible dining experience! They don’t have menus. They bring you several courses of whatever is fresh for the day, mostly seafood. Every dish was amazing and their wine list was extensive!

    Sit and eat! There is no menu. You state your preferences and one delicious plate after another are delivered to you in a perfectly coordinated sequence. Our waiter Vincent was terrific, serving with joy and professional manner. The wine list is superb.

    Everything was delicious, they brought seven dishes, one after the other, all of them so tasty and fresh. Our waiter Miguel was very kind and smiling all the time. It took us a little bit of time find the place, from the street it’s just a narrow pass way, and only an small plate on the wall with the name.

    This place is amazing. It took us a while to find the entrance as it isn’t obvious but once inside we were treated to a great evening of food and wine. No menu as such - they just bring food and tailor what they bring to what you like. We chose wine and meat or fish and that was it. Will be going back next time we are in Barcelona and would recommend to anyone (and already have! )

    There was no online menu available and no menu offered except that it was a set menu for everyone for that day at a cost 85 euros per person excluding drinks, coffee, dessert. Every course was a surprise that was not always wished for. We were misled by not knowing in advance what to expect and it felt like we had been trapped into a dining experience not our choice. Would definitely not ever go back

    Great place. Second time we visit. Great atmosphere, fantastic / amicable service. The menu is "fixed" in the sense that the chef sends you fixed dishes. The food is outstanding. The wine list is ample and well priced. As all the menu is focused on seafood and fish, I would recommend the restaurant to ask us if we would like to switch one of the fish dishes for meat, chicken, etc.

    Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Adresse in what 3 words manifestieren. Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich megagut: Service, Speisen, Originalität War ja schon in vielen Restaurants in Barca, aber dieses hier gehört für mich zu den Top 3 - die ich kenne. Freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.
