A charmingly beautiful traditional pub in the heart of Oak Bay. Fish and chips here are fantastic. Have been coming here for decades and never been disappointed. Always great food!

I am a regular patron of the Penny Farthing and as usual, my last visit did not disappoint. I had two reservations at different times on the same date and there was no problem. Izzy was the waitress on both occasions and Sam was the manager that day. The food and beverages were good and I will be returning.

The Penny Farthing Pub captures the vibe of what North Americans think of as an ole-timey British pub. The decor and styling was comfortable and friendly. The staff were hardworking and accommodating, though somewhat overstretched. The selection of beverages was outstanding. We look forward to taking our out-of-town guests there for a fun evening out some time soon.
