Pepino’s Spaghetti House, "The House that Spaghetti Built" is an homage to both the cuisine that developed in the Italian immigrant communities during the early part of the 20th century, and to the locale’s celebrated influence in Vancouver’s Little Italy. Serving classic 'Red Sauce' dishes from 5pm- 10pm daily. You can contact Pepino's at 602-254-5633 or info@pepinos.ca

Connected to Pepino’s is our sister restaurant, La Tana. An intimate affair, with a menu of pasta and small plates to share, an all-Italian wine list of much-loved and lesser-known varieties, and an essential collection of cocktails, grappa and amari to start, finish and make the most of the afternoon & evening. Reservations for lunch from 11 - 3 pm on weekdays, and 10-3pm on weekends. Dinner served daily from 5pm -10pm. Contact La Tana at 604-428-5462 or info@caffelatana.ca.

Wonderful dinner. Such great flavours and food options. Fair prices for the portion sizes. Overall amazing experience, everyone enjoyed themselves. Did not however like that if we had more than 6 people, we would be limited to a set ‘family menu’ for $55/pp. this had caused us to have to eliminate 2 people from our intended party, when we could have easily squeezed them into our seating area. Fair enough as this was a last minute request (adding 1 from 6). But we will have to keep that in mind for the future if planning to come with multiple guests.

Pepino's is the best for comfort food and it was a great day to be cozy inside enjoying an amazing meal (snowy day in Vancouver). The service and atmosphere were wonderful as always!

It's a tiny restaurant so it's not quiet, but hearing conversation is no problem. Service is phenomenal and the food is INCREDIBLE. I've been twice now and the quality has not varied, it's consistently so good. The garlic cheesy bread is life changing. Highly recommend

The waitresses and staff were very friendly and accommodating, they checked up and provided us recommendations. While the staff was friendly it wasn't enough for us to consider coming back. The mains took well over an hour to arrive. The pastas were very disappointing, they were bland, flavourless and salty. The Big Marg pizza seemed to be more so a Chicago deep style with the dough undercooked, it wasn't necessarily what any of us considered to be a Margherita pizza.

I love everything about Pepino’s usually and have dined there a few dozen times. Last night - midweek casual dinner - food great, service great but the noise … oh boy the noise … my dinner partner and I sat across the table from each other and had a really difficult time hearing each other without shouting A party of 6 to our left and a table of four to our right … another two-top behind me … everyone shouting at each other. I guess our table was poorly placed. I will never accept middle of the room table again - why they put us there is puzzling because there were a number of tables along the walls available. Next time I’ll just be picky I guess. So… Pepino’s good, noise very very bad. Maybe invest in some sound baffling?

We chose the DINE OUT VANCOUVER menu - but still paid quite a hefty amount for our dinner. Caesar salad was 'different' - large serving but ....; my husband had the mozzarella/marinara sauce - the cheese was very dry, sauce was tasty but neither were overly warm. I had the chicken piccata w/roasted brussel sprouts. The chicken piece was large and tender but 'brown butter' a bit too much; the sprouts - most of them - were way over-roasted - to the point of being burnt. The ones that weren't, were very tasty. The dessert, tiramisu, was good my husband said. I don't eat it. The bill was $80 for the dinners....wine & taxes & tip were extra. Ordering off the regular menu would be $117 - just food. Staff are very pleasant and eager to please. It is a very busy spot! Noise level is HIGH. I noticed the table cleaning process and wasn't overly impressed - a cloth kept at a counter near the back, along with a bottle of liquid used to wet down the table is used. The cleaner sprays the table, wipes with the cloth, brings the cloth back to the counter where they shake it over a waste basket with the crumbs, etc then place it back for the next use. I watched this happen 3 times during my time there. The cloth was never washed once. MAYBE the liquid in the spray bottle has some kind of wonder cleaner in it that doesn't warrant cleaning the cloth??? We will not return to this restaurant.....but without trying it, how would we know what it was like?

We really enjoyed the dinner but was slightly disappointed because I thought I had booked at Pepinos. I missed the small print that we had booked at La Tana. This meant that the Dine Out menu wasn’t available. But what we ate was fabulous , from La Tana and Pepinos. I recommend the rigatoni alla vodka from Pepinos. I was able to order it from the a la carte menu.

We had a very disappointing lunch. The menu is very limited. Our kale salad was awful and inedible. It left a terrible aftertaste like it was old and the dressing was off, like old rancid oil. Also my meatballs were cold. Even though my husband’s pasta was good, overall our first experience was very poor. There are so many other amazing restaurants in Vancouver that are outstanding, we won’t be going back. It’s a shame as the room is very cute and it’s in our hood.

Great service. Tiramisu was amazing. Had to return the Kale Caesar back and they obliged with no questions. Birthday Canoli was very tasty. The only set back the menu was a bit limited.

Our fourth annual birthday tradition once again did not disappoint. Delicious food (with enough for three meals!) and wine with EXCEPTIONAL service). I think every staff member must have wished the birthday girl a happy birthday and the free birthday cannoli was very much appreciated! Despite being full from dinner we still managed to polish it off with a shared tiramisu ;).

Excellent server, very courteous, passionate about the food served, engaging and loving person, open hearted. After our initial two appetizers, it unfortunately took the kitchen rather long to get our food ready. The ambiance is totally amazing, and this was surely a one of a kind experience. We’ll very gladly return again!
