Welcome to Pepito's – a vibrant Peruvian culinary journey in Sydney's Marrickville. Our family-run taberna offers an authentic atmosphere where people gather to eat, drink, and share memorable moments.

Founded in 2020 by Peruvian-born José Alkon as a tribute to his father, Pepito's showcases an edgier, more local side of Peru. We bridge traditional and innovative cuisine using local Australian produce.

    For a birthday dinner with family it was a great choice. The food and sharing plates were so tasty and they accommodated the need for some dishes to have chili on the side. Great service and atmosphere. A definite must try!

    Another perfect experience. The food here is always a delight. I loved the main dish, but also can’t go paste leche de tigre and the halloumi sandwich. The setas were also a standout. Also must mention how great the folks working here are. Special shoutout to our mate behind the bar. He took care to ensure we understood the wine we had ordered. Needless to say it was tasty and also a bit unique. Thank you.

    The food was delicious and the pisco sours were outstanding. The staff were so lovely and it was nice not to feel rushed throughout the meal. My only complaint would be that the food and drinks were a little slow to start but it was also worth the wait! A great place all round.
