Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. But it was the extraordinary, tall crust - crisp on the outside yet cloud-like at the center - that won his heart. He couldn't wait to introduce America to a pizza this special!

So so so slow !! 1.5 hours for 1 entree and 1 pizza Pizza was cold when it finally came Noise level was very loud

The pizza was nearly as good as the original in Rome, where we have been. That is saying something! It was fantastic! But the place was packed — and our server was completely overwhelmed. After too long a wait, we got only 2 of our 3 drink orders - and the third was nearly 10 mins later, since our server was so busy. Pizza also came out staggered: 2 first (before that last glass of wine, but at least it was his pizza!), and 2, you guessed it, 10 mins later. We will skip it during season.

We ordered about 5 minutes after sitting down (5:50) and informed our server we were going to a concert . We received our wine and salad promptly, but our dinners came out about 45 mins later. Salmon and Pizza were excellent!! Dinner definitely took a lot longer than expected.

Third time here, since it opened. Food is very good and atmosphere is perfect. The service was excellent!!!!

We selected outside seating. I would not do that again. It is simply tables next to the parking lot without any ambiance.

The arancini appetizer was DELICIOUS. The pizza was good, not our cup of tea but others may love it. I'm a member of Cooper's Hawk wine club and was happy that I could use/pick up my bottles there. The Chianti was excellent. I took two bottles home so I wouldn't have to make the 35 min. drive to get more anytime soon. All in all, it was a nice experience.

We had a good experience. The restaurant was busy and kinda noisy. Our waitress was good but she was pretty busy and did disappear for a little bit. She was training someone, so it looks like they are getting ramped up for season. Our pizzas for dinner came out slow (because the place was busy) but they were fantastic. Excellent drinks! We will be back.

Overall, think every meal for all patrons was delayed-not sure if due to short staffed-however, waiter was really horrible, seemed over his head, bottle of wine came out 3 minutes after sitting down, salad came out and was great, didn't get served pizza until maybe 1.2 hrs from sitting down and to add insult to injury, all pizzas were cold. Meatball appetizer planned to be delivered with meal never came. Eggplant parmigano was delicious however, but way late. Other table next to us said they sat down half hour before us and left with us so they did worse than we did. Really unfortunate as we are not inclined to return for another possible 2 hour torture.
