Pimienta Bistro and Bar is an urban fusion of Latin American cuisine. Chef Blanca Rodriguez takes great care to create a delectable piece of art for every guest, appealing to every sense.

We strive to provide exemplary service each and every visit for our guests. We invite you to our restaurant, where you will find a combination of an eclectic, rustic atmosphere that captures the best of European cuisine with a Latin American flair.

Our mission is to create something memorable with every dish we present our guests. And with every delectable plate,

we will deliver a superior service making us a stand-alone restaurant in our neighborhood.

We love our friends and neighbors from NE Tacoma, Brown’s Point and Federal Way that frequently drop by for a delicious weekday meal or for leisurely weekend dining.

We also enjoy the regular visits from our friends in Oregon and others on their travels throughout the Seattle-Metro area.

A truly exceptional Mother’s Day brunch at @pimientabistro with Chef Blanca and her warm and welcoming team. Chef Blanca goes without saying stands out in the food community. Pure talent in the kitchen and such a cool human being! We loved her flavors and ingredients at brunch. From the Poblano Blue Crab Eggs Benedict, to Destin’s French Toast, and Des’ Chilaquiles - phenomenal. Lovely staff and ambience; however, the food was disappointing especially for the price. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer but found our main dishes (paella and seared ahi) to be lacking in flavor and the ahi was quite dry. Based on the positive reviews and social media content, our expectations were not met by the food.

What a wonderful experience! Went here to celebrate my daughter‘s birthday with her best friend and had a wonderful time. Food, drinks, service, ambience…. all absolutely perfect. Would definitely come back. Thank you for making my daughter‘s birthday dinner an exceptional evening!

The food and beverages were outstanding. For starters, the crispy chickpeas were deliciously light and some of the best calamari I've ever eaten. The house Colibri tequila reposado is just incredibly smooth and aromatic. The two house wines we ordered were complimented the delicious entrees - a snapper special and cauliflower steak. We'll be back!

Pimienta consistently remains to be excellent on every visit. Starting with the salad, the entrée and the dessert. Even coffee after dinner. Loved it all!

The service was quite bad and the food not good either. In fact, I got sick from it. We were seated quickly, with a reservation, but even though the restaurant was not busy, we didn't even get water for close to 10 minutes. There was another wait of about 5 minutes before they took orders for drinks. When we placed our orders for our meals, the waitperson had to return and ask, again, what my husband wanted. The food was mediocre. I ordered "cauliflower steak" which was a chunk of grilled cauliflower and a gruel of stuff, including lots of garbanzo beans. Looked disgusting. I was up all night dealing with the aftermath. When I phoned today to report that my dish made me sick, the manager said, "Well, 5 people ordered that last night. If we get any more phone calls, we'll look into it." I got the impression they didn't believe me and they showed no grace, nor asked my phone number to check back with me later and see if I was okay. I still don't feel great. Very poor service, and not good food.

Looking for a NEW Restaurant and found Pimienta, jokes on me. They have been there 16 yr. and was good food, different, tasty, with wonderful women who severed us. Nice decor that was fun and tactfully done. Going back for sure.

Great experience, great service and excellent food. I had the hibiscus margarita with their own tequila and it was the best margarita I’ve had. Lamb chops were phenomenal as well.
