He ido multiples veces a Pisco y Nazca.
We never had Peruvian food before so we all decided to give it a try. Our server made several recommendations and they were outstanding! Empanadas, beef fried rice, and several other dishes were amazing!
Really Good place to eat and Good Services………………….
Best Peruvian food I've had so far in the US. Everyone was friendly and orders were all right despite allergies. But service a bit slow towards the end of the evening.
Food was great and as a limeña, I would dare to say that the flavors were as close as one can get outside Peru.
Really liked their menu tho the chicha had a bit much clover.
Thank you for the great service and courteous staff.
Very disappointed in the food . The beef is hard to chew
Amazing food and service would totally recommend it.
Food is fabulous, but service was lacking and fell a bit behind.
went for my husbands birthday. had a reservation that said it was his birthday asking for a nice table. they sat us next to a family with multiple small kids who were very loud- nothing against the kids, we have small ones too, but not what we were looking for on our night out. we ordered food and alcohol while we were there- the bill was not cheap- waiter never asked why we were there or mentioned my husbands birthday. meanwhile, they sat a table for two next to us who did not order much. then our same waiter brought them complimentary birthday dessert- nothing for us! worse, when we got our bill the waiter used a hand held card reader, put in a 20 percent tip for himself, and then held the card reader in a way that tried to force me to just accept the tip as-is and sign! So rude! We normally give at least a 20 percent tip, even when service is not awesome (we know during covid restaurants are often understaffed, etc) but that was over the top. when i asked if i could please have the card reader so i could put in my own tip and sign, the waiter actually protested and said he was not supposed to let me have it! what?! i told him i promised i would give it back. (eye roll) so overall, while the food was really really good, i don’t think we would return based on service. too many other great DC restaurants with awesome service out there at this price point.
Nice place, great food, friendly service.
The food was amazing! They have put complimentary salted corn. I got the leche de Tigre shot which was sour and super delicious. The main course which was the ají de gallina was phenomenal! It was a big enough portion that I was able to take some home. Overall good experience and the ambience is moderately loud but the decoration is pretty.
The food was just okay. I was expecting the food to be WOW.
Only one slight hitch (slight!). OpenTable advertised a prix fixe special that was to end today, Oct. 16 (I think), through the month celebrating Latin American Heritage. That advertised special was $23 per person. However, once there, they said their new prix fixe lunch menu was $25 and OpenTable was out of date. So I paid the extra $4!
Really delicious food and drinks, awesome service, and overall a truly great experience. Love this place and will come back
The $25 lunch special was excellent value. Service was attentive and water was refilled frequently.
Great atmosphere, drinks and food. Will be coming again!
Excelente service and delicious food. Great place to experience Peruvian cuisine.
Great food and the service was amazing ! Will be back for sure !
It was brunch to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. Our waiter Daniel was very courteous and customer oriented. My nephew received a special birthday dessert and a hand written birthday card! Will definitely check again. Thank you
Good food and excellent service. I shall return.
Fantastic! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great value. I think this might be my favorite restaurant in the city!
Lovely way to spend a birthday!
We had the Spanish heritage (and friend's birthday) celebratory 6 course menu including Pisco flight (superb!) Food overload but it was all excellent. I will return for a "regular" size meal that I'm sure I'll enjoy. Looking forward to brunch one weekend coming up.
We did the tasting menu and were blown away by every dish. The portions were larger than anticipated, the pisco sour flight really got us out of our cocktail comfort zone in the best way, and our server (Maria) was phenomal. We will be back!
Raul Jiminez was our server and he was amazing! We did the tasting menu and it included many delicious dishes, as well as the Pisco Sour flight. Highly recommend.
Lovely spot! Great pisco sours & ceviche! Would come back again.
Insanely flavorful food. For those looking for flavor - the ceviche is the way to go!!
We came here in the late afternoon last Sunday and had our eye on the ceviche and lomo saltado from the start. I got the prix fixe (and selected the lomo as my entree) which came with a flight of piscos, 4 appetizers, a main (lomo) and a dessert. The piscos were all very tasty but I preferred the two non-traditional options. The appetizers were a lot more food than I expected and to be honest by the time I got to the lomo was ready to try it but definitely knew I'd be taking most of it home.
We really liked the ceviche and loved the dessert but the rest of the food was forgettable. Seriously, the dessert on the prix fixe - Pionono A La Mode, which was a rolled sponge cake with dulce de leche and espresso ice cream - was amazing. Honestly, I may come back just for this dessert. The lomo was overcooked/tough, way over salted, barely had any tomatoes or onions, and didn't come with as much sauce as I would like. It was closer to a bed of french fries and some overcooked beef (see photo).
The service was not good -- they were very friendly we just struggled to get drinks and our food took forever. It was average busy, not slammed, and they were reasonably staffed but I do give them a bit of a pass since everyone was very friendly. We also had an issue with running our card that we had to talk to 3 people about before the manager stepped in and took care of it quickly.
I did really like the staff -- even though the food took forever (we spent 2.5 hours at the restaurant and only ordered a few drinks) -- or else I would probably have given the place 2 stars on account of average food, long wait times for food (we waited over an hour between our appetizers and main dish), and trouble getting drinks/attention of servers
Service was great and the food was delicious. Only reason for three stars is that one of the dishes with fish made me sick 15 minutes after eating it.
Ate outside. The restaurant was hard to find due to a lack of signage, but the food was delicious and our server was excellent.
Outstanding ceviches. Portions are large!
