PJ Lobster House in Port Jefferson, New York, is a seafood restaurant that also doubles as a fresh fish market to the local community. Diners who come in for a meal enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere, perfect for digging into a plate of oysters on the half shell. There is something for everyone with a menu including seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken and pasta. Enjoy a meal under our heaters on the outside deck during the warmer seasons. Full bar available and a great place to catch your favorite sports games. Dogs are permitted on the outside deck. We are family friendly, so make sure to stop in after your visit to Rocketship Park which is located just across our parking lot.
We additionally serve Sushi Wednesday - Sunday.

Our main entrance is in the rear parking lots directly across from Rocketship Park. There is free parking available in the Barnum Parking lot on Barnum Avenue, or metered parking in the municipal lots. We also have an entrance on Main Street through the Harbor Square Mall Entrance.

I am from Connecticut. Ate here for the first time on Saturday October 17th. Very good food and service! Great Bloody Mary too!

Very accommodating service. We had a party of 6. We were early but they accommodated us quickly and even though separate checks are a pain, our waitress gladly helped with that and was very nice. Everyone loved the food and one person said the hot lobster roll was the best she’d had all year. Shrimp cocktail had 12 shrimp for $10! We were all happy.

Was there during happy hour and it was loud, but the service was outstanding and the food was very good. Large & reasonably priced warm lobster roll and the drinks were excellent!

Servers were great. Attentive and friendly. We were celebrating a birthday dinner and they accommodated our party of 10 in the back dining room which allowed us to enjoy our group without other background noises. Food was perfect! Everyone loved their meals and drinks. Seafood tower was presented nicely. They allowed us to bring an outside cake and they cut and served it. We love the PJ Lobster House every year for this birthday celebration. Thanks for a memorable evening.

The prices are crazy . It was a great experience and everyone was wonderful but the prices of everything is extreme . I won’t be coming back as often

I met a friend for lunch. We had the baked clams for an appetizer- so good! I had the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries- also very good!

James and his team have it down pat.Everything comes together-the food is consistently better than good,the servers are attentive and nice-and the ambience is also great.It’s rare to go to a restaurant for over 20 years and be able to say the same things about it.This is THE destination for seafood in PJ!

We always love our experiences at PJ Lobster House. The staff is friendly and helpful. The oysters & clams are always clean and delicious. They make the steamed lobster perfect every time.
