Welcome to Primo Tuscan Grille, Charlotte’s premiere Italian restaurant since 1993. We bring the best of Italy to the heart of Myers Park, offering classic Italian cuisine created from the freshest ingredients served in a warm, casually elegant atmosphere. Preview wines from our wine cellar and enjoy a cocktail before or after dinner in our cozy bar.

Our waiter was amazing. Food was ok. Breading on Milanese was a bit soggy for my liking. Perhaps I ordered the wrong item. I will be back.

Food was good; made a reservation and had a nice table by the window. I am not one to notice service one way or another if the food is good, but our server was so bad that it ruined our experience. The server did not seem to be understaffed as he was just paying more attention to his "regular " customers in the table next to ours. Our reservation was for 7:15pm and the menus were still sitting on the table at 7:45 and he had not taken our order. He told us the specials within 2 min of our arrival, but did not take a drink order and we did not see him again for another 15 min. We ordered drinks eventually and then he did not take our food order until 7:45. We did not get away until 8:45 and the server never asked us if we wanted a 2nd drink during our 90 min dining experience. We spent most of the 90 min looking at our empty glasses and waiting for our food. He actually avoided eye contact whenever we tried to get his attention; He just spent all his timing attending to the table next to us.

We enjoyed our meal very much. Authentic style Italian food with good service. The wine selection is limited but adequate.

Very quiet place on a Friday night but service was lacking. Asked for bread 4 times to multiple wait staff, finally was delivered after dinner was complete.

We've been going to Primos for years, and the drinks, food, and service are always perfectly consistent. One of the few places I've found that makes a perfect martini. We usually ask for Vincent or Ceasar, but I'm sure everyone is top notch. The paintings on the wall add to the quiet, intimate ambiance and make dining even more special. The only downside is for the mobile-challenged; you have to walk a long flight of steep steps to enter. Parking might be a little challenging but not really an issue.

We were looking for a new place to.try and how can you go wrong with Italian. Primo Tuscan Grille was quiet and the staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the Penne Primo Pasta and it was excellent. Not so sure about the frozen Carpacio, but nonetheless, everything was awesome. We'll definitely be back again.

I have an annual dinner with my cousins in Charlotte. This place was awesome. The decor was beautiful. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The only down side was that my cousin ordered sweet tea. It was not sweet. We were a group of four. I ordered the duck breast. Everything was cooked perfectly. The soup of the day was lobster bisque it was the prefect marriage of sherry and cream.

Was underwhelmed by the food for the price. Service was sub par. I understand valentine's day is busy for all restaurants, but the overall experience was not good. Beyond the service, food took about an hour to come out after ordering, and no vegetarian options were available and no accommodations were offered. Would not return.
