Quay is a new coastal Mediterranean small plates restaurant and lounge located on the river walk in Downtown Providence. We are open for dinner and weekend brunch, serving an inventive menu of small plates, house-made desserts, specialty cocktails and unique wine and beer selections. We feature soaring 21-foot ceilings as well as outdoor seating directly on the cobblestoned river walk.

Food was very good but the place was empty so the waitress wasn’t as attentive (chatting at the bar). Very nice ambiance.

The food was mediocre. The manager present at the restaurant when we were there was extremely rude. We were the only table of customers in the restaurant for most of the time we were there and they still had a hard time getting it right. All 6 of us live/work in the vicinity and were excited about this place but based on how we were treated and the overall experience we all decided we wouldn’t be returning and that we’d not recommend it to our friends/colleagues. There are too many awesome restaurants in the area to waste your time.

we ordered a few things, one item was the Mezzo plate for 4, there was less than a tablespoon of hummus smeared on the slate. It was just underwhelming . We ordered other things, and everything tasted fine. Don't say something is for 4 people if everyone cannot taste something as simple and inexpensive and basic on your mediterranean menu. It felt like a lot of money was spent on food and nobody was satisfied at the end of the meal. Cocktails were great, food was just okay and don't go here if you're actually hungry.

Great small plates enjoyed by all. The cocktail potatoes and beef/lamb meatballs as well as the summer salad were delicious. Quay would be a great site to view Waterfire!!
