Good high quality food in the upstairs restaurant. The service was good and the room had a nautical theme.
Ground floor is the bar and bar food.
It would depend. Definitely not on a HOT day like Friday. It was so humid and the doors to outside were open and so as a result the aircon had zero impact. Assuming there is aircon of course. If not - please put some in and close the balcony doors in intense weather.
Food and atmosphere otherwise were lovely. Good service.

The Rag & Famish offers outstanding service, a very impressive selection of beers, wines and spirits and possibly the best steak in New South Wales. The environment for business networking, after hours meetings, or even an afternoon lunch is absolutely the best. Easy, welcoming and comfortable with a wonderfully friendly staff, who could ask for more?

The service was good, the food was good - it felt a little over-priced but OK.
The annoying element was the unnecessary music playing. It was bloody awful, too loud and forces everybody to speak over it... raising the noise levels generally. It's not an easy restaurant in which to have conversation. It's quite a while since I've eaten there but the staff and the food were both good enough for me to consider a return visit soon. And, finally, you DON'T NEED THE MUSIC. No-one is listening, anyway.
We had previously enjoyed two excellent steaks under the Thursday night 2 for 1 steak offer. This was great value and the service was overall very good, but exceptional by its friendliness, treating us older folks as if we were human beings (maybe this is just elderly paranoia, of course). It also had very acceptable noise levels being in the upstairs restaurant away from the main bar. (Why do restaurants drive away the half-deaf monied old folks by unacceptable noise levels?)
We therefore proposed it as a venue to visit with two friends, again taking advantage of the 2 for 1 offer. The service was again friendly and everything started fine. But the steaks were not in the same class as previously, being gristly. If the steaks had been OK one would then not be alert to other shortcomings. We were rather slow eating, maybe partly for the above reason, but the dirty plates were left with us for a long time. Then I do not recall us being asked whether we wanted anything else, not that we did. So things seem to peter out as though the job was done once our main meals had arrived.
We will probably try again at some point as the ambience is great, (not "ambiance" would Open Table please note!), but would not risk taking any guests.

In short the meals were all good and the service was great except, one entree came out wrong and the waitress not only insisted that was what I ordered but wanted to argue about it. So I ate the pumpkin salad instead of the wagyu bresole I ordered and actually wanted. This avoided further issue and embarrassment in front of my two guests. I really do not know why the person did not just replace the plate or offer me a credit or something simple. Instead they wanted to insist and argue. My guests were even surprised and they are local business people. I paid for the whole meal without question of course.
So in short, would I come again of course but I would check my order twice and hopefully not be served by the same staff member as last time.
The other lady that greeted us made a point of apologising as I paid the bill which was very nice that the incident was understood. Note I never told her about it, but someone did. Overall it was a good experience

For friends catching up this was an ideal location. It was a good atmosphere and quiet so you could speak with each other. The food and service was great.

Food was great, service OK. Be warned: the OpenTable website mentions a surcharge for 'bookings over 12' but the restaurant actually charges 8% extra for 12 people. They are aware it is incorrect on the website but make no effort to correct it. If you turn up with 11 and don't let them know about the changed numbers 30 mins beforehand they charge you for 12 (and leave the chair at the table). Also, if they need to contact you they will only call - even if they can't get through - resorting to SMS or email doesn't seem to be an option.
We all enjoyed ourselves and the food was great. We were a little disappointed that the wine we were ordered was not available. Overall very good service.

A venue I frequently book for business lunches, service, food and ease of booking, as well as convenient location is why I keep coming back. I also appreciate staff who remember a returning customer.

It was very good, though they were having issues with their phone system leading up to my client meeting so there was a bit of miscommunication regarding food and drink packages which was frustrating. Staff were very friendly and accommodating on the day. The first-floor restaurant and lounge area was very nice and created a great environment for my clients.
Had the two for one steak, steak cooked perfectly, great value for money. Service was overall good
