We eat at Real regularly and are never disappointed. The seasonal menu is frequently updated. The options are unique and delicious. The service is fantastic. Best of all, no need for reservations. This time, I had the vegan farro risotto. It was fabulous! My dining partners had the bolognese, the filet, and the fennel sausage. All were very satisfied. In my opinion, the bar is Real's best feature. They make a great Pimm's Cup. And the hospitable owners are always on hand to chat and make us feel welcome. If you're looking for a place where everyone knows your name, you can find it at Real.

Came here on my lunch break and had the Goat Cheese & Strawberry Salad. All organic lettuce, very fresh and gorgeous colors with the watermelon radish, beets, and strawberries! Perfect for this warm weather. The plate it was served was even cold keeping it extra fresh! Quick, friendly, and attentive service went a long way. Prices were spot on or and even less than other places. Be back soon! - New Regular

Some dishes were good, and some were almost good (but not quite). Staff was friendly, but a little green. It's pricey for what you get.

Brunch was wonderful! We have come in for dinner a few times and have always had a great experience, so we gave their Brunch a try. It was just great! We shared both the French Toast Benedict and the Croque Madam...Dangerously good! Haven't had a Croque Madam before and it was very unique and delicious! Great way to ease into our relaxing Sunday. Oh, and their Bloody Mary's are exceptional! Well Done Real. Doing everything right!

We were headed up to Solana Beach for a show at Belly Up, and this restaurant sounded good. It was really not our scene - too romantic, live piano. We were looking for something a little more lowkey. And, the food was good but not great. I really did enjoy my cocktail though, and no complaints about the service.

We went here with some family from New York. We have been here a couple times and knew the food would be great and there would be enough options for the whole group. The service that our server Eric provided was outstanding he was always on top of making sure we had all our needs attended to. He food was amazing as well I had the rib eye and it was perfectly cooked. My family said it was one of the best meals that they have ever had. Even the vegetarian in the group was able to get some fantastic. She ordered the mushroom pasta and was not disappointed. My other cousins got the short rib and there was nothing left on the plate. The piano player was nice and added to the ambiance. My only complaint would be that because of the piano and where our seat was located it sometimes was hard to hear what was being said by my family on the completely other end of he table. We had a decent size group however. Thanks Real Bar and Bistro for showing my family a great time.

Great food! Awesome people. The chocolate garden was a masterpiece, it was like the garden of Eden without the snake. Ribeye was excellent and the bratwurst was phenomenal. 10/10 would come and dine again . Thank you to the staff and Eric our server for keeping us happy all night. P.S definitely try the seasonal beer, and the French 75
