Love Rooh everytime we go. Every server always knows the menu what to suggest based on your preferences. The food is always beautifully plated and delicious!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Rooh. The decor is beautiful. The food and drinks looked great and tasted even better. Our server recommended 2 small dishes and one large dish to share, which was perfect. Service was exceptional. 10/10!

Rooh has consistently been one of our favorite Columbus restaurants. We love Indian food and have dined there many times over the years, often with the same group of friends. Unfortunately, after not visiting for at least a year, our experience last night was very different from what we remembered. The portions were noticeably smaller. The cauliflower appetizer has always been a favorite and previously came as a small bowl filled with cauliflower. This time, it was served in a large, flat bowl with only six or seven pieces and a few decorative accompaniments. While the presentation was artistic, the portion was not worth the price, and we would not order it again. We also ordered the salmon appetizer, but the pieces were so fatty that we could barely cut them with a knife. The service was equally disappointing. Our waiter left all of the menus and dirty appetizer dishes on the table. When our entrées arrived, the food runner asked us to “please make room” for the new dishes. We asked if she could remove some of the empty plates, and she responded that our waiter needed to do that. Her response felt dismissive and rude. We ended up stacking our own dirty dishes on the table while waiting for clean plates and utensils. Overall, the staff seemed either poorly trained or simply uninterested, and the food was not nearly as good as it had been during our previous visits. There were eight of us at dinner, all of whom had enjoyed Rooh together in the past, and everyone agreed that we do not feel the need to return. It is especially disappointing because this was once a restaurant we consistently enjoyed and recommended.
