The team behind the Carbone restaurants that are now dazzling Dallas isn’t just about Italian. Their sparkling Sadelle’s in Highland Park Village is a New York deli — but hardly your typical one, which is why it stands out. Smoked salmon and sturgeon and deli sandwiches? Sure. But breakfast tacos, caviar, and Asian skirt steak, too.

Sadelle’s is a modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of all-day dining. Since opening its first location in the heart of SoHo in 2016, the brand has reached iconic status thanks to its urbane, celebratory atmosphere and a menu of hits, including the best bagels in America. Among its many accolades, Sadelle’s was named an essential brunch destination by Harper’s BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan, and its sticky buns were ranked one of the Best Dishes of 2015 by The New York Times. Sadelle’s currently has outposts in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Paris, Boca Raton, and Dallas. The restaurant is named after MFG Co-Founder Jeff Zalaznick’s great grandmothe

Our server, Roberto, wasn’t amazing. He was very standoffish and inattentive. We thought it was maybe the brunch rush, or personality, but we compared his service to us vs. the tables we were sandwiched in between. I don’t know if it was racism, as my family consists of Mexican/Pakistani/Kenyan heritage and the tables around us were totally white except one diner on one of the tables who was Asian. We definitely didn’t want to think of it this way but his lack of communication and care reduced our thought process to align with this possibility. Anyway, the food was amazing, the hostess and other staff we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with were awesome, and the vibes at this restaurant are just unmatched! We hope to come again and not be assigned Roberto, though.

Awesome menu and our server, Jordan, was kind and amazing. The manager. KiKi, was so friendly and the reason I will tell all my friends to visit Sadelle’s. The food is so creative and delicious!

Our server gave very rushed frantic service. It was very different from my previous visit. He seemed a bit put out. The food was good although my server did not give me a choice of toast as I had on a previous visit. I took a friend there for her birthday and it just wasn’t that great compared to a previous birthday visit, the hostesses were super nice.

It is such a GOOD place to eat! I want to take all my friends/family there, next time that we want to have an amazing breakfast, brunch or lunch. My friend had the Freddy salad, and I had the Waldorf salad, but we really wanted to try everything. Also, the salads were quite big, so I'm actually having the leftovers as I write this review! You won't regret going, especially for a menu that reminds me of NYC

Horrible client service at the hostess stand and this is the third time we have eaten there with the same front staff horrible customer service. Wait staff somewhat arrogant and do not listen well. ( 3rd time same experience ) Food ingredients are good quality

Terrible place. The black lady at the front was rude. We waited 25 min with a reservation and she sat people that she knew but told us that there were no tables and that she cannt do anything about it.

Went for the happy hour menu… got there at the very beginning of happy hour and they were already out of oysters … the other items on the menu were meh and not worth the price. Ordered coconut shrimp was very disappointed

Sadelle’s is one of my favorites! The manager is lovely and seated my friend and I. However, the wait staff could be improved. It’s a great place, but reinforcing customer service would turn this always into five star!

The table was dirty, ambiance very poor, and menu out of many of their key items. Should not be open if cannot have better menu options and clean environment. Very disappointing and very poor value. I felt sorry for the staff.

Don't go here for dinner. The place is dead around 7pm (only open to 9pm) with only 6 active tables and one server. Service was slow, coconut shrimp appetizer very disappointing, and wine selection way overpriced. Good for breakfast and brunch, but many better options in HP Village for dinner.

We were sat in a two top with so much foot traffic my partner was bummed the entire meal. The service was overall great but wished the server was attentive at the beginning. Appetizers were served late and had to get management to bring it.

Loved our visit to Saddles. It is just as beautiful as the one in Belagio, Las Vegas. The only thing that was not as great was the chicken in the waldorf salad was so bland. The chicken tasted like to was boiled and from the fridge as opposed to freshly grilled chicken. Everything else was was wonderful. We will be back.

Sad that this neighborhood restaurant is not family friendly or accommodating to children. I had a reservation for 2 adults and my 1 year old. Because we needed a high chair we had to wait 30 minutes, STANDING WITH A BABY, while they got us a 2 top table with no change in the seating arrangement. Absolutely ridiculous!!! No changing table in the restroom, and waited so long to place our order that we had to ask for our waiter. Food was good but not good enough for that price point.

Dined here for lunch. Food was mediocre. Brussel sprouts were oily and the Greek salad with chicken was not good. Service was better than food. I do not recommend.
