In the 1950's our grandfather, Giacomo, came to live the American Dream. He moved from Saviano, Italy to live in Long Island, New York. He met his wife and started a family, opening their first location in Long Island, New York, named Village Pizza. As business flourished, we moved to a larger location and changed the name to Alfieri Brothers’ Pizzeria. Again, we outgrew the size of the restaurant and relocated to a larger side of the center where we have remained since 1991. The following year, Saverio Alfieri decided to head south and expand the family business by opening a location in North Texas. Since then, Saverio and his two sons, Anthony and Giacomo, have managed to create one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s best kept secrets. The Alfieri family has and will continue to serve authentic Italian recipes perfected by Grandma Alfieri herself.

I knew we were in for a treat when we opened the door and the smell of freshly baked garlic knots wafted out to welcome us in. It set the expectations high and Saviano's delivered! The garlic knots are amazing (I will not disclose how many baskets we devoured), the Mariana sauce -- a true indication of an Italian restaurant's worthiness -- was perfectly balanced. The meatballs, pasta, salmon/shrimp were all very good, satisfying, and served in portions none of us could finish (mmmm, leftovers). The salads were good and large enough for 2 people to share. Our server, Vonya, was attentive, professional, and friendly. Even with a packed house our food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. On a whim I googled for a place halfway between FW and Dallas to meet friends, did a little research/read reviews, and I am pleased to say we stumbled on a real hidden gem (at least to us -- by the size of the crowd, it's well known in the midcities) AND we will be back. Note: the wait line is long (I overheard the hostess say 45 minutes to an hour) but if you make a reservation (we did, thankfully) you are whisked to your table within minutes. A 45 minute wait alone has to tell you what a following Saviano's has, and for good reason. Thank you, Saviano's, you exceeded expectations and have new fans.

We had a reservation for 5 PM and I brought a friend from Houston because I just love their food. We both got the seafood linguine. Not cheap, but I know I’ve enjoyed it before and it was worth the price. It was not on Monday. First the garlic knots were hard as a rock like they put them in the microwave for too long. The shrimp was way overdone. I think they just heated up food from Sunday I was quite disappointed I sent them an email, but heard nothing back from them,

My friends and I always enjoy the food and ambience at Saviano's for our girl's night out. This restaurant never disappoints. The general manager is amazing.

We had a very nice experience at Saviano's. Service was great, and staff was very friendly. We had crispy salads to start and eggplant parmesan and seafood linguine as our entrees. Both dinners were tasty and we had a great time at Saviano's!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – An Absolutely Wonderful Dining Experience! 🍷🍝❤️ Saviano’s Italian Restaurant is truly a gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully romantic. The soft lighting creates the perfect ambiance, and the talented piano player, Mark, adds such a wonderful touch of elegance. It’s the perfect place for a romantic date night or a lovely evening with friends and family! And the FOOD… absolutely AMAZING! 😍 The penne alla vodka is hands down one of my favorites! The sauce is rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the meatball appetizers… they are TO DIE FOR! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, right down to their fabulous cocktails! 🍹🍸 Saviano’s has that perfect combination of incredible food, delicious drinks, beautiful ambiance, and a little old-school Italian charm that makes you want to come back again and again. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out! One of our absolute favorite places for a wonderful night out! ❤️🇮🇹

The food was absolutely outstanding, every drink was perfection, and the live piano music was simply fantastic. The atmosphere was elegant, warm, and inviting, making the entire evening very enjoyable.
