Amazing waitress! Beautiful view right on the Charles River! The crab cakes and lobster rolls were outstanding! Can't wait to go back again!

I attended this restaurant based on reviews in Open Table and Yelp. Unless youre staying at the hotel, there's no need to go to this restaurant. The food was mediochre. We waited over 30 minutes for one of our meals abd there were few other patrons. I brought someone there for her birthday based on reviews and was embarrassed at the quality of the reataurant for such an occasion.

Excellent service and staff with delicious food and a wine selection of options from breakfast to dinner. We ate here several times during our stay in Boston and enjoyed their brunch and dinner menu.

We were staying at the hotel and it was a lovely evening so we sat outside. It was a lovely setting. Very good service. Food was just ok but we were there for the setting on the river, the convenience of eating at the hotel after a long day of walking around Boston. Fit the bill.

Really wonderful staff - friendly, great service, fantastic food, recommendations from the chef were not only on point but worth sharing an incredible experience for others to try. Michele was our waitress - plenty of room for our evening but enough attention to make sure we were happy throughout. So good and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you!

Our group ordered a variety of menu items - from caesar salad with salmon to the mussels pot, fried calamari, oysters (with some clams also included on the tray), shrimp cocktail, grilled oysters, spicy chips and shrimp dip, and the scallops with corn puree. Everything was pretty good - but nothing was "knock your socks off - I can't wait to go back and have that again." Unfortunately, the scallops were overdone, and the corn puree included very hard pieces of corn (that were so hard I thought they were shells from the scallops)! I rarely send anything back, and was happy not to make a fuss - but the waiter insisted on having the chef make me a new plate - which came out about 20+ minutes later. It was worth the wait! These scallops were done perfectly, and they were served with some lovely grilled vegetables. I appreciated that the waiter went that extra step to give me something delicious. The other thing to note is that the Sonesta no longer provides valet service (which I expected)! To make matters worse, the garage elevator also did not work - so that was very inconvenient (for someone with mobility issues)! After speaking with the hotel manager about it, however, he made an arrangement for the garage attendant to bring my car around after the meal, which I truly appreciated. So - the lesson for this place is: if there is an issue with something, speak up and they will make it right! Doing just that changed the experience for me. I would go back.
