Seamore's Brookfield Place
Way too loud. Hard to have conversation over dinner if you are near front, bar area.
Wonderful setting for a perfect day.
Small portions, but an enjoyable meal nonetheless.
Of course, going to dinner in downtown Manhattan (FIDI) you expect for things to be on the pricey-side. The food was good, though I couldn't quite say it was worth the $$$-- the happy hour specials looked good, so I would probably return here for that, but not really for a casual dinner with friends unless you want the bill to be $300+. The drinks were standard, with the margarita I had being slightly better than the other drinks, but the second one I got was nowhere near the first. While the waiter was attentive when we originally sat down, we were soon frustrated when he was nowhere to be found in a mostly empty restaurant.
Overall, nice ambiance, good food, but a bit pricey and service could have been more attentive for the price point.
Always great food. One of our favorite places to bring people when they visit.
Caught up with friends! I had the same server I did the first time. He’s so awesome and funny! Will be back for happy hour!
Food was salty and service was poor
Beautiful outdoor seating area on a perfect summer day. Our visiting family and friends from Europe loved the food and the ambiance! It’s a struggle to find a Sunday brunch restaurant in Manhattan that could seat 10ppl AND accepts reservations. If you’re a seafood fan, Seamore’s is the perfect choice.
Pricey for lunch, very noisy and echoey in back section tables -- difficult to carry on conversation with 6 colleagues
$5 ice teas with no free refill! We got a $20 bill for two ice teas each!! I couldn’t believe it!
Great location and good prices but the music was too loud on the terrace and it took ages to be served.
A bit pricey for what you're getting, but they have a great and creative menu
Food is not the primary product of this restaurant; drinks after work are the mainstay.
It was fine
Great manager who took over and made dinner worthwhile
Great experience and great food for a business lunch with a large group!
Great location to catch up with a friend. Highly recommend the patio!
Yikes!!!! We were so excited to come here, only to be greeted by servers who straight up ignored us and very sub-par food that was over-priced. We were extremely disappointed because the SoHo location is pretty nice. Bathrooms were also disgusting. And I cannot underscore how the servers just did not care about us -- left us waiting, some looked at our empty plates and walked by (in hopes another server would pick it up), and they would just hang around and talk while we had waited like 10 minutes to order. The drinks were yuck too.
This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. I order the special of the day and the fish was so small I literally had one bite. It was mostly fish skin on my plate.
Drinks were undersized, wait staff inexperienced and ambience horrible.
The food used to be good, but now it is pretty bad, tiny portions and overpriced!!
Great evening fun outside. Nice place to unwind after a long week.
Truly one of my favorite places in the city! The service was superb, and the food was EXCELLENT!
Too loud from happy hour, but empty in dining area. Food was over salted and fish was undercooked. Servers were friendly, but wished they’d checked in a bit more. It was very expensive. Honestly I could go to Hudson eats and get a decent meal at dig Inn for better value.
Great atmosphere and service! Our waiter was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the menu.
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely incredible dinner at Seamore's in Battery Park. We both ordered the Reel Deal, mine with Salmon and his with Mahi Mahi, and it was absolutely diviiiiine. We both chose the lemongrass aji sauce and were obsessed with the 3 sides - buttermilk beets, cauliflower mash, and sauteed broccolini + mushrooms. I inhaled my whole dish. Would 1000000% recommend to all of my friends.
Our server had a great personality and the outside patio was great.
Fish was fresh and yummy. Sides were healthy and flavorful. Not too salty.
In spite of having a reservation the host asked 8 of us to
Squeeze in an outdoor table that fits 6
Excellent fish. Don’t miss the General Tsao’s cauliflower appetizer.
Fun atmosphere but also nice enough for a good business lunch.
We had a delicious dinner! Our server was outstanding, friendly very personable. We would definitely dine at Seamore's again. So glad that this restaurant is in my neighborhood.
great service. Tried multiple things off the menu (tacos, mac n cheese, lobster roll) and was very pleasantly surprised.
The bloody Mary was a little too salts and had too much of an olive flavor rather than a spicy tomato flavor
Second time trying. Just very average. Stingy on guac. Rubbery mac and cheese. Too much batter on tacos.
food is solid and reasonably priced! i would make the cauliflower bites a little more crispy but everything else was spot on!! John at the bar is amazing!!
Food was great. Service was terrible. Didn’t have oysters until 4:00. We went for the seafood at noon on a Saturday.
Good food..but it is not simple seafood restaurant.. mexican food is really good
Seamore's is a fun, upbeat restaurant with great food and drinks priced right, definitely recommend it!
I was very much looking forward to trying Seamore's but to be honest, I left disappointed. I ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and my friend ordered the fish of the day. Both were not worth the price. The Mac and Cheese dish is served on a normal plate and does not come in a nice cast iron dish. The dish had plenty of lobster but was not really cheesy. My friends wish was good but very small and the plate was dominated by sides, which could not be substituted (no substituted on a $25 dish - really?). The dessert was the best of all three dishes we ordered. The Churro ice cream sandwich was a dream!
We were sitting next to the bar entrance in front of the blackboard with the fishes painting and it was freezing. We also had to ask three times to get our wobbly table fixed.
Maybe I am coming back in the summer when we can sit outside as the ambiance is very nice but I did not find the experience worth the price.
Good place for a quick business lunch. Food was very good and service was quick.
My friend and I had a FANTASTIC time. Daniel took excellent care of us, the hostess was nice when we came in, and Rose checked in on us during our meal and was lovely. The salmon poke was delicious, as was my lobster roll. We will absolutely be back.
