Small Barn is an exciting part of the Temecula restaurant landscape offering a casual but elevated dining experience in the form of a modern bistro. The menu is inspired by classic preparations found on bistro menus around the globe while showcasing the bounty of ingredients produced in the region. The restaurant atmosphere is crafted to be a welcoming gathering place that is beautifully designed and relaxed, but with a vibrant energy that encourages socializing and discovery.

On the site of the historic Knott Family Homestead, Small Barn has brought new life to a landmark building from the early 1900s. Great care has gone into preserving the structure and with it the legacy of a prominent Temecula family that was among the area’s first settlers. Small Barn has maintained the original residential scale and offers extensive outdoor seating including the large wrap-around porch, covered patio and fireside lounge seating.

The food is great! We wanted to sit outside but too cold; Inside was noisy even though the restaurant wasn't full. But we still had a great night.

The lighting outdoor and indoor is so off putting. Because it’s so bright, You feel like you are dinning in Walmart. We had ceviche and the shrimps were whole making it hard to eat. The Romain salad also could be prepped by a better chop on the salad!

Chef Sergio and his crew (thank you, Sasha) really knocked it out of the park with our meal. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was exceptional! We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Temecula again.

Got the steak frites. Quite possibly the most delicious flavorful steak I have had ever or in a long time. The fries are better than Gordon Ramseys in downtown Disney. I appreciate the chef coming out to tell us about the foods and sourcing and ingredients.

They were out of several items on the menu and a couple of alcohol items. Main dish cane with absolutely no sides!

Beautiful setting and comfortable environment. Food was an effort to turn comfort dishes into something with an original flavor. Limited menu and some main dishes were not available.
