Was a bit disappointed and really wanted to like the place. The item that we went for was replaced in the new menu. The platter we ordered didnt have everything as suggested in the menu still got charged for the full item. I would suggest to go at other bbq places as it might not be worth the price.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Smoq House. The service was amazing! Our server was knowledgeable & personable. The food was very good and plentiful. Our only complaint was that some of the sides could have been warmer. Having eaten there before I know how the dishes could have been better if they were warmer. We had the large platter to share with 4 of us.

Our second time dining here and we will for sure be back! We ordered the three meats and 4 sides platter to share. It was plenty for three people and everything tasted amazing. The sauces they include are so delicious but the meat on its own is so tender and flavourful. The macaroni was the most loved side so I’m glad we ordered two. We will be back to try the sandwiches next!

Ordered the platter. The food temperature should have been hotter and portion size larger. Mac and cheese just okay.

The good quality was solid. However, there are several gaps with this newly opened restaurant and with so many competing and excellent options nearby, we likely won’t go back. Server was pleasant but inexperienced. Never got our drinks, had to wait several minutes after food arrived for metal trays that serve as plates and cutlery (we ordered family style). We had a reservation so did have a nice table, but near back so think she forgot about us frequently throughout the meal. We were told once we were ready to rest that they were out of the two most popular meats (of 6 choices) so that was crazy and really disappointing. If we weren’t really hungry, we would have left then. We were really disappointed by the value for the meal. We ordered 4 meats and 4 sides for $84 and the amount of food that came with that barely fed the 3 of us - we honestly thought it was a joke. Not competitive at all. Everything was on metal trays and paper bowls and so don’t know why it took so long to get served. Overall, can’t recommend this restaurant, unless you have a lot of patience, but hoping they find their grove and improve over the coming months, as we were excited to support a local new restaurant.

Absolutely amazing hidden gem! Very surprised to find something as high quality as this in Burlington. The food, packed with flavour. Service was quick and courteous. Placed an order the day after for our family bbq too! Love this place and will be back for sure. 10 / 10.

Unreal! So happy Burlington finally has a BBQ spot, split The Pitmaster platter with a friend and we both loved it. Service was fast & friendly, definitely will be coming back
