   For the price, disappointing. Typical resort food. Basically we were placed on the patio which impacted the ambiance. Wine list subpar. Was easy to hold a conversation. Not a bad meal but expected much more and will not be returning.

   We loved the view of the water from our table. Our server, Monte, was great with our kids. Food was very good. We loved the cesar salad and dessert.

    Beyond boring food and service is marginal and slooooww. Edible and nice view. Far to pricey for what you get and I am happy to pay hundreds for a meal but this is as nothing I couldn’t quickly for myself at home,

    The worst part of this experience is that I can’t remember our servers name he was spectacular. The sunset did not disappoint. The lobster was extremely expensive, but it was a special treat and everyone’s meal was perfect. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you to the bartender or wonderful server, and everyone who made our night a success.

    How can I put into words the amazing night we had dining at Sol by the Sea? We had a waterside table, and our server, Zhamoyani, was half the reason we enjoyed it so much. He was friendly, accommodating and patient. The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. The water tables put you right in the ocean. Thank you to the concierge for the help reserving, and to Zham for the excellent service.

    Wonderful food and view was amazing of the ocean. Our service was outstanding and the chef came out and twice to check on us! He really cares that our meal was beyond our expectations and it certainly was. Husband had a lobster roll which he enjoyed and I had the best Cesar salad ever!! Highly recommend this place for anytime meal

    Friends got their appetizer, ate it, got their plate removed BEFORE my wife and got our appetizer. Bill came and there was a mistake but it took the waiter about fifteen minutes to correct.

    This was an incredible experience, the wine, the food and the service were phenomenal. Elsie (so?)was awesome and was with us every step of the way with suggestions, etc.. We made this reservation several months ago as a late Christmas present to our best friends. Everything was incredible, including the hostess, who insured we had the perfect table with the best view. 10 out of 10!!!

    Over promised and under delivered. A $52.00 steak should not be tough. It was. Had a 5:45 reservation and at 6:30 they were asking for our table.

    Ambience, food and service were wonderful. One of the best sunset views too. Using a Sol by the Sea gift card that our children gave us was a challenge because they said it couldn’t be honored if you were not staying at the resort. No one told them that when it was purchased. The restaurant ended up doing the right thing and honored it but it was uncomfortable and a bit awkward for us. I would still definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Sol is fantastic! Enjoy the sunset and watch the boats on the water while you sip a cool glass of wine. They also make beautiful cocktails, but I’m a wine drinker. We had dinner at Sol twice while staying at the resort. Chef Tom does a wonderful job with fresh fish, which he gets in every morning. We had both the grouper and the mahi, and they were grilled to perfection. The Caesar salad comes with fresh peels of Parmesan. Our server Lazar, was impeccable. All food came out hot and beautifully plated.

    I signed up for the Valentine Dinner promotion. Upon arriving to the restaurant, there was confusion over my reservation. I finally opted for the water view since they were not able to get it straight. Upon being seated at my table, I had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge our existence. A very kind waitress stepped up to the plate and brought us menus and and took our drink orders. Soon thereafter, our "official" waiter showed up like Houdini apologizing for not having attended us and asking what we would like for drinks. I kindly told him that someone had already taken our drink orders, and poof, he disappeared again for the rest of the night for his grand finale. The kind waitress continued to tend to us. She did a great job. The food was good but overpriced for the quality. I expected a whole lot more based on the reviews. I don't think I will go back.

    We ate on the beach last night. Service was beyond horrible. I believe our waitress thought she was a hostess. Sat us at our table, then returned after entree was served. No plates were ever cleared until I was holding my entree plate while plates were cleared. No dishes cleared after app, the bread box was put in front of me when I cleared my app plate. Salad plates then put down, still nothing cleared. Then entree arrived, I looked at the food runner and said. “I don’t know where you can put it.” I was handed my entree plate, and then dishes were cleared. My husband filet was served cold. The cheese cake was frozen. Never experienced anything like this. Just very disappointing.

    Our table wasn’t reserved for a birthday lunch celebration as planned. We waited an additional 30 minutes at the bar. It took forever to get menus and then another long wait for drinks. They added a 20% service fee for a table of two. Extremely unhappy with the service we received.. Although the view was beautiful.

    Nice meal on the patio just before sunset. There was a wedding taking place on the adjacent lawn which was fun but the steel drum music was both entertaining and loud. The service was good and when my wife asked about a vegetarian entree, the chef came out to talk with us. All the food was excellent including the conch fritters and my wife really enjoyed her house made veggie burger. My blackened grouper was quite good. Our cocktails were really the weakest point. I had a dragon fruit mojito which was tasty but full of ice and pretty weak, and my wife had a Manhattan which was not well made; it had crushed ice and was very dilute. Our server forgot to bring me coffee but we liked the key lime pie and the caramel cheesecake. There was an unexpected 20% service charge added even though we were just a party of 4. After the meal we did enjoy walking around the resort grounds which are very pretty. Overall a nice meal, although a bit pricey.

    Absolutely certain the waiter never put our order in. We waited an hour for service and it wasn’t busy. The food is very average and pricy for the quality. We would NOT recommend.
