Beautiful food, but very disorganised and honestly it felt a bit like we were dining at Fawlty Towers!!
We booked early at 6.30 pm because the opening band started at 7.30, with Oasis playing at 8.45pm.
We were put on a high table with stools, and they made my back ache after just having a long car trip. The staff happily moved us immediately, but then their system fell apart.
I ordered a vodka with cranberry and lime, the waitress brought my husband’s beer and said they didn’t have lime would raspberry do? I said yes, then waited about 30 minutes after asking twice.
Our sashimi came straight out and was delicious, closely followed by our entrees which were very nice. We were asked if we were ready for our mains to which we replied yes. Then 15 minutes later the same waitress asked if we were ready for our mains, again we said yes. Then 10 minutes later a different waiter asked if we were ready for our mains…again we said yes.
Then an entree platter arrived, and we explained that we had had our entrees and are waiting for our mains. 10 minutes later the waiter asked if we were ready for our mains!!! By this time the opening band was well and truly into their set. We complained to a waitress who said it was our fault for changing tables!! No apologies.
We finally got our mains just before 8pm. The mains were delicious.
We quickly ate and left after paying for our drinks. Lucky my husband got a receipt, because we had been charged for the entree platter that we hadn’t ordered. We went back again and were given a refund, but then had to rush to find our seats in the stadium. We missed the entire opening act and only made our seats with 10 minutes to spare. Even though the food was good, we definitely left with a bad taste in our mouths.
