We loved this place so much we had breakfast once and dinner there twice during our 3 day visit to Jasper! The ambience was particularly nice, a roaring fire on a cold wet day and beautiful views of the mountains. The food was varied and delicious and we had excellent service all three times from Sam. She was so friendly and welcoming, we hated to say goodbye. Highly recommend especially if you’re staying in east Jasper where dining choices are limited.

This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to the Canadian Rockies. Lucky for us, it was at the hotel where we stayed. Our charcuterie board and steak were very good. Service was personal and friendly. The view of the Rockies was awesome and it was so nice to walk home to our room.

Great ambience. View of the mountains was awesome. Food was good. My open table booking indicated a table by the window. Unfortunately my table was given to someone else. Our waitress admitted this and offered us another table not near the window and then said she would move things around for us after I asked why we were not given the table booked. This could have been done before we arrived

The Overlander restaurant was recommended to us as a great place to try and it was outstanding. We stopped in for breakfast and we were not disappointed. If the view and ambience wasn’t enough, the food was simple,delicious and very reasonably priced. It is definitely somewhere we will go again.

The venue is lovely with a beautiful view of the Rockies. I had the gnocchi and I wasn't sure what flavours were supposed to be accentuated. There was so many things thrown into the dish that it made me think of the kitchen sink. My husband had the lamb shank Its look was unappealing. The flavour was ok, but not worth the $45 pricetag. Dessert was tasty, we had the chocolate pistachio torte. And our server Karen was very pleasant and attentive. Overall I feel that if the restaurant focused more on their menu instead of having 4 extra pages of options.

Great experience, lovely venue, food and service was great. Sitting outside,you could hear the road noise which at times could be loud, especially when big trucks came through.
