Another amazing Chef's dinner at Stonegarden. Everything from the delicious and creative food pairings with wine or NA cocktails to the service and staff to the holiday decorations was top-notch. We hope they'll continue to have these evening dinners.

Hosted a business lunch here, it was fabulous. The server was very attentive, provided great recommendations for the table and individuals. All items were fresh, well-presented and yummy. We all enjoyed the seasonal egg nog, the bone broth, and house-made bacon. Our table was ready for us, and we all left raving about the food, the staff, and sharing how we will definitely be back for date nights, etc.

The place is clean and light. The scotch egg was genius. A soft poached egg on a country fried sausage in a yolk-yellow sauce with micro greens. It was very good. Like an egg in a mimicry of an egg. The steak tartare was a miss. A preponderance of fresh chili and a very piquant drizzle of sauce on some untoasted bread was a miss. The lack of toast deprived the consumer of a contrast in texture, and the piquancy of the chilis and drizzle completely disguised the taste of the steak. It gives the impression the steak is old and tastes like the refrigerator. Good tartare is lubricious, slightly umami and pleasingly salted. This was bland and uniformly soft. Like pablum. I regretted it and would never order it again.

I cannot rave about our breakfast experience enough- the food was outstanding. We ordered the eggs Benedict (the homemade biscuit was so good) the breakfast poutine (also fantastic) and the chia seed pudding parfait, OH MY GOODNESS. We can’t wait to go back - amazing!

A group of friends met for brunch and we each had broths which were excellent for depth of flavor and so warming on a cold morning. We ordered tartines and egg dishes and everyone found the food very delish. The service was top notch. We all said we would return.

My family recently had brunch here, and two of us ordered the (House& Crab) Benedict. I love egg Benedict and have eaten it for years. I could tell right away that the sauce was way over-salty. I thought maybe I was being overly harsh, so I had my husband try it, he also thought it was way too salty. Then my daughter, who ordered the House Benedict, also said hers was way too salty. My husband's meal was very good, but overall, it was a disappointment. Especially when something like this is so easy to fix, allow people to add the salt level that is right for them. I really want to like this place; it's very hip, but unfortunately, I won't be returning to this place.
