Our group of 6 had the meatballs, pork dumplings, basil beef, soup, whole fried fish, pork belly, and taro cake dessert with a rose’ to drink. Service was attentive and made good suggestions. The place is small so consequently the tables are crowded and the noise level is high, but it’s worth it because the atmosphere is happy and the food is all delicious!

First, get a reservation, as you will not be able to eat here without one. Our party of 4 made ours several weeks in advance for a weeknight. The food is delicious and authentic (I am relying on a Thai friend, who was with us, to vouch for the authenticity). However, be prepared for even the "mild" dishes to be spicier than you may be used to. We chose the pancakes, papaya salad, and pork sticks for appetizers, and each of us got a different entree: a green curry, pad see ew, stir fry basil with beef, and stir fry basil with tofu. We all loved our food. We were pretty full after the meal, but we did get ONE piece of the taro cake to share. OMG. It was just enough to give each of us a couple of bites--we could easily have put away another piece...or three! The restaurant encourages "making a game plan" for ordering with the others in your party so that you can share if you wish: all the entrees may not come out at the same time. Even though the restaurant was packed, we were not rushed to give up our table and it was only when we left that we saw people waiting outside (there is not room to wait inside). Not surprising that it's so packed--the chef is a James Beard winner for 2023. It's a humble space, but a new, larger one is soon to come. It was a wonderful evening.

Food quality is excellent and portion is good. It's a small venue, so a reservation is required. Waitstaff is outstanding. And, I do appreciate the 22% tip included in the bill because I do support a liveable wage for all restaurant staff. I'm glad they do this. PLEASE NOTE that if you can't tolerate heat/spicy in your food, do NOT order "mild." Only some dishes allow for no spice so ask your server. We can't tolerate any heat/spicy AT ALL. So, we could not eat the Massaman curry, cashew chicken, or pork fried rice (even though we ordered "mild") after just one bite, which was a shame because it looked so good. We packed it all up immediately and took it straight to my mom who can eat spicy food. The pork dumplings are easily the best I've had in my life. The spring rolls were large and good, but I would say average. My S/O enjoyed the unique taro cake. He loved the Thai tea and drank two. We give this place 5 stars, and we'll return but won't order anything "mild." You've been warned.

This was my first time there for lunch, the menu was short and tight. Not a whole lot to ponder over, which was a good thing. Our server had a great attitude, was knowledgeable about the menu, and we took her advice on the specials that she recommended. Food was amazing, as always. Great value in my opinion, and a wonderful experience.

Food here is amazing. Nothing like it in Houston. Great wine list. Great staff. Only quibbles are the draconian rules about ordering all at once / no changes etc / and only one credit card per table. Hopefully once they move into a larger space later this year they will ditch all these silly rules.

My partner and I have been twice before and maybe it was just that we happened to dine late on a weeknight, but some of the dishes did not hit the way they usually do, particularly the drunken noodles. I will be back though! Thank y’all for the amazing contribution to Houston.

Wow. Probably the most delicious Thai food I’ve had outside Thailand. Service was very good, got slow a little later but there’s only 2 of them including the bartender. Be careful ordering Thai Spicy level, it’s no joke. But sooooo good!

Bizarre and so disappointing. After waiting weeks for a reservation, we were sat and given water upon arrival, but ignored after that. After waiting for 30 minutes without acknowledgment, we left.

The portions have gotten a lot smaller than before. It’s good but I don’t think it’s THAT good. Table of 2 and we ordered 3 entrees, 1 salad, 1 appetizer and 1 dessert. I was expecting to leave with at least some of the food to go but nope we finished everything. The specials aren’t that special you are better off sticking with the regular menus items. The food is good don’t get me wrong. The table next to me ordered the veggie spring rolls and I heard them saying that the center of the roll is still cold - like unthawed from the freezer. We orders that too and ours was hot but it was just meh. The mango stick rice, drunken noodle and green curry and papaya salad was definitely good, but the price + 22% service charge seems a little inflated.

I’ve been going here for a few years but brought a group of my friends for the first time. Some of them were Thai. As soon as they took the first bite they told me “this is exactly what you get in Thailand”. We ordered about 8 dishes since there were 6 of us and we were eating family style. Everyone loved it and of course I’ll keep bringing new people.

Don't get me wrong, I love love this place. I dream of their food. The owner and server were great. My only complaint was the timing of plates. Maybe thats how they operate but we had too many dishes at once on our small table. some of dishes were no longer hot and steamy by the time we got to them. I'm fine with taking the whole order at once but, we couldnt keep up. no bueno.

The best Thai food I had yet. I recommend the crispy pork belly and pad see ew with pork! The green curry was legit! I would definitely come back and get to go! It’s a small place next to a gas station and seems sketchy but trust me it’s not! I heard they are looking at a bigger place but I hope they stay in the east end area.
