Me and my girlfriend used to go to Sun dining very regularly as it was our number 1 spot to visit (especially for the ramen). However we recently just went and everything changed drastically. As we arrived we stayed in the bar area but we noticed immediately that the songs that were playing were so loud that we couldn't take them seriously, also they were really bad songs. After that we noticed that the prices went up by nearly €2 if not more and we were so stunned to see the prices went that high. Food was pretty good (like always), but for the price it is not worth it. We will unfortunately no longer be going as it really changed in a short amount of time.

We visited this restaurant on January 1st, 2026. We arrived at the time for our reservation and were seated right away. It was clear right away that the service was not going as planned since the 2 waiters were conspicuously running around like their hair was on fire. It appeared they had changed their mobile ordering app menus, and the waiters didn't know how to use it efficiently. The kitchen in the restaurant is also extremely small, and requires the chef to go back and forth through the seating area. After seating us, no one bothered to come by our table for the first 15 minutes to take our order or even offer water/drinks; we even found food menus ourselves on a counter top near by. We then flagged a waiter down, and placed our drinks and food order (2 basic noodle dishes). To their credit, the one cocktail we ordered was delivered within 5 minutes. However, as we later found out, our waiter completely forgot to place our food order. After waiting for an additional 35-40 minutes (nearly an hour since we were seated), and no one paying attention to our table, we flagged one of the waiters who was running around frenetically and asked about our food. He said he'd check and went away - no response. After waiting another 10 minutes, we flagged yet another frenetic waiter down and asked him to check on our food. That's when they realized that they had completely forgotten about our food order, and we could audibly hear them "firing" our order. Our food, 2 basic noodle dishes on the menu, eventually arrived nearly and hour and 15 minutes after we were seated. The food tasted fine - it was neither unappetizing nor memorable - but, we left feeling disappointed.

I discovered this place on Google maps and boy oh boy what a treasure I found. The location is particularly interesting and the food was just great, but what struck me most was the service. There were these two waiters who did such a great job. 👏 They served us like royalty and made our evening a one to remember. Will surely visit this place again.

We were so disappointed. We were a party of eight people and the restaurant was completely unable to serve our food anywhere near at the same time. For both courses, (starters are mains), the food arrived in tribs and drabs with people receiving their food after others had completely finished theirs. Two people had to wait for over thirty minutes to receive their mains after most had finished theirs. The staff were very polite and hard working, let down by the food service process failure. There was no one in charge and when we complained a call had to be made to the owner. We had two other group meals during our stay in Malta and know this service level not to be representative of food service in Malta. The service in the other two restaurants was exemplary. It was such a shame that the poor food service very much spoilt our evening. One of the staff admitted that all the food should have arrived at the same time.

I was not happy with Beef Ramen. For this price, I was expecting more, however the food was bit boring - noodles, beef, broth. Could be better seasoning.

SATANIC BUSINESS. DO NOT SUPPORT. The toilet is downstairs in the business next door. When you go down, the walls are red, there’s an image of a goat and a message that says “welcome to hell”. I was disgusted. I pray the owners will redecorate the place asap. Food was ok, prices are decent. the service was horribly slow. I counted 15 mins since the moment I asked to pay and when I actually paid.
