Upgraded from 12 course to 17 is 100% not worth it. Tried 17 courses got 4 pieces of extra fish and 1 sake compared to 12. Super rushed since everyone else was 12 courses. Asked to leave in 45mins because of next seating, not 75min experience. Celebrated birthday and zero acknowledgement of birthday at dinner. For $125 per person expected a much better birthday experience. Service friendly but slow. Incredibly disappointed with experience and will not be coming back. Not worth it. Left still hungry. Food quality okay nothing compared to LA and Miami sushi. Vibe nice but needs improvement on making it an experience especially for price tag, work on presentation, up portion size and acknowledge special occasions!!

Chef Emily and Chef Charlie were fantastic. The bartender who made my cocktail was amazing and so were the cocktails. I do feel that although the quality of fish was great, the variety of fish was pretty standard and basic for the price point especially after getting the boujee menu. Overall fun experience.

We are here for our anniversary and the experience was just ok. The sushi was decent but not amazing. The food service was fast, but almost too fast. They wanted to get us out of there as quickly as possible for their next seating. The bar service was quite slow and I received a corked glass of wine initially. The price was pretty fair for the quality overall

We celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday at Sushi by Bou, and it was such a special evening. The quality of the fish was exceptional. Every piece was fresh, beautifully prepared, and memorable in its own way. The chefs were a highlight: warm, skilled, and happy to explain each bite as they served it. Their attention made the omakase experience even more enjoyable. The team acknowledged my husband’s birthday when we arrived and again during dinner, and they generously offered us sake on the house. Service was excellent throughout. The space feels luxurious and intimate, almost like a private dinner, which made it perfect for a celebration. I gave four stars for value because I didn’t notice a substantial difference between the two 17-course options. Compared with the less expensive menu another couple ordered, the main additions we noticed were a caviar tasting and foie gras on one piece. I enjoyed our experience, but I think the less expensive option would be a great choice for someone coming in for an ordinary night out. Drinks are also worth factoring into the total; sake started at around $17, and other alcoholic drinks were around $26–$27. Overall, the sushi, the chefs, and the atmosphere made this a wonderful birthday dinner. We’re so glad we went.

Staff and ambience are top-notch. However the quality of the food - especially for what you pay - it is under market value. True sushi is a complete different story. I came with high expectations but was fairly disappointed, however the chefs and staff are very friendly, kind and nice.
