When this restaurant changed ownership a while back we went once and were not impressed by the menu at the time. If I remember correctly, they had removed the buy one get one free, increased the prices and reduced the choice of the speciality rolls which are our favorites. At the time we felt they were not in line with the competition. However, we decided to give it a shot earlier last month for lunch and we liked it so much we’ve been 3 times since. They have expanded the menu and their rolls have amazing flavors and their selection allows you to rotate because they now have so many on the menu to choose from. We’re glad we can enjoy this restaurant again because honestly it is in one of the best locations in North Raleigh. It’s got great outside seating and the inside is also of a very high standard. The rolls are not cheap but they are worth it. Try it you will not be disappointed.

I went with my boyfriend, the service was a bit slow and all the food we ordered came almost room temperature or cold, nothing was hot. it was a nice vibe but again it was just slow and nothing felt fresh

We had a really good dinner experience at Sushi One. The service was great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The sushi flavors were on point, fresh, and well balanced. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the overall experience made it a place we’d happily return to. Highly recommend!

The food was good; service though was lacking. Our server seemed to want to push us to order quickly, yet once the food was ordered, it took an uncomfortably long period of time to come out from the kitchen.

We were in the Raleigh area for a wedding, and we decided to grab a bite the night we got in. Sushi One was well-staffed, has a strong emphasis on customer service, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is cozy, and they have a nice outdoor area. Coming from Charleston, SC, we are spoiled with great food. We were not disappointed! Next time we are back in town, we are definitely coming back!
