We ate in the courtyard and had some of the best food I've ever had! Service was great and music was perfect - background dinner music instead of blaring too loudly to speak. Loved everything about it!

We had a wonderful dinner. The fried oyster appetizer with Brie on bread has a nice spicy sauce. The gumbo and the French onion soup were delicious. For entrees we had the bouillabaisse and the sheepshead fish (fish of the day) almandine. Both terrific. Passion fruit tart and crème brûlée finished off the meal.

It was the best Restaurant we found in New Orleans. It was a hint/tipp from a woman i asked in Frenchman Street. We enjoyed everything very much. Today we will visit Tableau again! Best greetings Eberhard and Alexandra.

Food and service was very good. Wife had a salad entree which was very good but skimped on the fruit of the day. I had the Tableau cheeseburger and it was excellent. Wife's favorite dessert is the creme brulee was perfect as well as my Tarte.

The setting was lovely the food good and waitress friendly however once the restaurant got busy busy we were almost forgotten so we handed our credit card 20 min after finishing our meal to first person we saw and left. The steak and fish were excellent

Service was appalling. The bartender was unable to make simple drinks (ex. margarita) and once we were seated at our table we waited 40 minutes for anyone to come to take drink orders or bring bread. The waitress was rude. We left after an hour of no service.

Fabulous food! The French Onion soup was to die for and a generous portion! The escargot and oysters also very very good. Cocktails too were right on! We hit Tableau after the Red Dress Run, last Saturday and were hot and tired. Everything hit the spot and the cocktails cooled us down. Fab server too! We were supposed to sit out side but due to the heat had a last min change to the bar lounge upstairs which was no problem at all. Will return soon!
