We are proud to be Hawaii's premiere plant-based Japanese restaurant. Join us for a unique dining experience that celebrates life, balance, and sustainability through the art of sushi.

Whether you're a long-time vegan or exploring new culinary horizons, we're delighted to have you join us. Our team is passionate about creating delicious, innovative plant-based Japanese cuisine that highlights the vibrant tastes of our locally sourced ingredients. We also strive to create a more inclusive dining experience by using gluten-free flour for our sushi rolls.

Last seating: Monday to Thursday is 8:45pm, Last call 9pm. Friday and Saturday 9:15, Last call 9:30pm

We were impressed with the quality of our vegan meal. This was our first full vegan experience but it will certainly not be our last. Our dishes were delicious and the presentation tantalizing. Customer service was professional, courteous,timely and responsive to our inquiries. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I've dined here many times while visiting Oahu, and it is always a wonderful experience. The food, service and atmoshphere are great. It has consistently been excellent over the 5+ years we have been visiting and is always nice to see the same familiar faces working there - which always says a lot when the staff stick around.

Host was rude. Waitress was not very helpful in explaining things in theeny. They never gave us any water at all. Sushi came without wasabi or ginger. Kitchen staff who brought the food were nicer and more responsive. I would give all the tip to them. The food was good - except we would have ordered differently if the waitress had explained things better.

Tane Vegan Izakaya is by far my favorite restaurant on this island. I've dined here five times now and have never had a "miss." The menu, the ambience, all of it is exquisite. Do not leave O'ahu without visiting!

Staff was very friendly. The food was AMAZING! I’ve been wanting to try here for some time now. When my son suggested it for my birthday dinner I instantly said YES! I’m already looking forward to going back. 😋

One of my favorite restaurants in Honolulu, vegan or otherwise. The food is inventive, beautifully balanced, and packed with flavor. I especially love the Rainbow Roll, gyoza, Brussels sprouts, and the cheesecake — every one of them is worth ordering. Add attentive service and a thoughtfully curated sake selection, and it’s an experience that keeps me coming back.
