Tapped Gastropub offers a modern day dining experience. This place operates on the philosophy of "good meal with a good drink”. Meals at Tapped Gastropub are prepared by or under the supervision of executive chef Bill Rurak. The restaurant supports the local community by serving a farm-to-table menu that is made from the freshest local produce. The bar and the dining area have a typical "pub"look with adequate lighting. The menu offers a large selection of small bites, fast food, seafood and traditional American dishes. Popular items on the menu include the smoked Gouda & spinach burger and the shrimp crostini. The garlic parm wings, the boursin stuffed sirloin steak and the fish tacos. Tapped Gastropub operates a full bar with handcrafted beers and cocktails.

I love this place, the food is always good and the service is always great. I've never had a bad experience here. Every time I'm in Virginia Beach - I make a definite plan to come here!

Went to this place for Valentine's Day. Everything was wonderful. We loved the live band that played. The food was delicious. They had a red rose waiting for everyone who made a reservation. It was just great. I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend this place. The only thing *ONLY* thing I would complain about is that I thought when we first walked in that I could smell cigarettes - but it might have just been people out side. This place is very classy! Love love love it! We brought our infant daughter. The staff was very nice about everything. They brought her out a booster seat to sit in. They don't have car seat holders, but that was not an issue for us. Place was a tad bit on the expensive for MY taste but you get what you pay for. It was an amazing Valentine's day dinner that we won't forget. Bottom line: LOVED IT! and we plan on going back!

I have had several lunches and now one dinner at Tapped. I have never been disappointed in either the food, drink, or service.

I am a steak lover, and its hard to find a good steak unless I cook it, but their Cajun Rib eye was absolutely the best one I have ever had.

Good atmosphere but our server was terrible. He didn't know the menu. I had the mahi mahi topped with crab. My fish had a huge bloodline in it and I couldn't eat much of it. The server never came by for me to show it until after I had finished my meal. He didn't seem to know what it was or care. The rest of my meal was just rice And briccolini which were fine. For the price I paid I was very disappointed.
