Staff need to communicate with each other, had three staff members come to the table within 5 minutes asking for our order

Great place to sit and eat and watch the world go by outside. The Thursday night pizza special was great value for our large table and the waitress went out their way to accommodate our seating arrangements.
The Strawberry Dacquiries were a winner too.

Great food, service and a nice lunch out. The service was fast and unobtrusive. We ordered a platter to share , a pizza and the Viking Salad. It was all great, but I absolutely loved the Viking Salad.

Great place, service was excellent, we went out to dinner the following night, ate and then headed over to the Avenue for drinks. Highly recommended for a drink or a meal.

My friends and I had a last minute reservation for our last night in surface paradise. We had the best experience and the food was delicious 5* quality. Our waiter was amazing, he had a great attitude and made sure we were comfortable, made sure he came out of his way to apologise when our food was a little late due to a lot of customers which was understandable. He made sure we had enough drinks and topped up our water.

We came to The Avenue expecting some good vibes and good food. Unfortunately the waitress killed any vibes we had. The food was over priced but was tasty but the service took away from us enjoying ourselves. Telling us to wait at the end as she didn't think we had paid was also not great...

Great show with high energy and enthusiasm - the girls were fabulous! They all certainly worked very professionally and have the audience a wonderful night.

Service was excellent and the pizzas we had were lovely. It was a very busy night due to Seafire, but our waitresses were attentive, and everything came out quite quickly. I would definately come back to The Avenue!

Service was great, everyone very friendly. A bar, restaurant and a nightclub all in one. What more could you ask for. Also one of the only venues on cavill that wasn't discriminating against tattoos! Only visited 3 places that would let us in with tattoos.

Music was rather loud,very hard to conversate.It just needs to be lowered a touch so you are not having to shout .Otherwise everything was great.

Food was pretty good, nothing too special. Pizzas were a little bland bit the schnitzel was wonderful. Best part of the night was kareoke.

Good food and pricing is awesome for the area, found it to be 20% less on beer than across the road.

I was very disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed after open table accepted my reservation on Christmas Day. I understand that restaurants can take a break but someone should have informed me or the reservation should not have been able to get through.

Food was very good and reasonably quick. Staff were a bit abrupt with their service at times. Loud music makes it a good bar scene, less pleasant for a sit down dinner.

Food was good until I found plastic in the chicken and a dead fly in my cocktail

Food was pretty dissapointing. Very bland, barely cooked and pretty expensive. Serveal people on my table didn't finish and left still hungry.
Ripped off on the beer tower. You get far less beer than indicated due to the huge cooling block immersed in it.
Won't be going back.

Menu at restaurant didn’t match menus online. Our table was forgotten about, drinks we ordered weren’t served.

Dinner was good and we had a good waitress. My only issue was we had a mixture of teenagers with us in between 16 and 20 I understand asking to see ID I really do but I had something to say as I was annoyed when you come to our table a 3rd time asking them all again. That has put me off hazving a dinner there again with teenagers.

The food was okay but it was verg overpriced. Service was excellent and the comedy show was a winner!

They were amazing at The Avenue went above and beyond with their service to make me and my girlfriends night really special. It was my girlfriends birthday and they sorted out a cake and even sung her happy bday on the karaoke night. I highly recommend having a look if you are in surfers paradise is a great venue.

We love The Avenue and It quickly became one of our favourite Surfers Paradise locals! Always awesome service, staff are always happy and patient. Food always quality, big portions and served in such a timely manner. Best value for money. We love taking friends and family there.

We had a one of the best beer in Australia and I could say the best steak burger I have ever tasted. I loved every thing on the AVENUE: super friendly staff, large portions of food and a AWESOME BEEER.

Music was way too loud. Couldn’t even hear the person sitting next to you. Food was good and the venue itself was nice.

The new Avenue is great! Beautiful decor, great vibe & attentive staff. Will definitely be a new regular for us. Thanks for a lovely dinner!

All 4 of us described our meals as "good." Service was a bit slow.
The biggest disappointment of the evening was they didn't have any record of my OpenTable reservation. They were able to seat us but not until after the requisite "could the reservation be under another name." The presumption from the outset was the problem was my error despite my having the confirming e-mail from OpenTable. When we were finally seated I was asked whether I "cared about getting my OpenTable points!"

It was super packed but The staff were so nice and the food was delicious it also came out super quick also which is great as my friend and I were starving!!! Decent prices decent people, nice bar/food restaurant type feel, I would definitely recommend and will be going here again.

The Avenue has brilliant food, lots of choice, but of everything. They serve Angel Bay patty burgers which is amazing because they’re, in my opinion, the best type of patty. The service was decent. Nothing amazing to note about that. The surroundings are very urban, little bit grungy almost but hip although once I’m the nightclub is going, it’s VERY loud and almost at a shouting level. You get wonderful value for money as the portions are VERY generous - no one at our table ate all of their food. They offer take-home containers though which is great. Their chips were absolutely delicious and they have a rather decent drinks selection too. All in all, I would recommend although I wouldn’t rave about it. 3.5 - 4 stars in my opinion. But I’m no foodie.

Was I blown away by the new venue of the Avenue! Last time I was in Surfers we visited the old Avenue across the road. Last night we returned to the new venue. It is three times the size! From the moment we entered we knew we were going to have a great night! The atmosphere was breathtaking. From the friendly and attentive staff to the most delicious food. Where else can you eat, drink, dance and have Live entertainment......it's a rare find.

Wish that we would have found this amazing venue earlier on our holiday. After day 6 we have had many disappointments until we found the Avenue. Finally a Restaurant in Surfers that will bring me back.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was fantastic, fresh and tasty, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of character. Every where you look you can see the attention to detail in the fit out, not your every day restaurant.
