From the owners of The Burren, one of the most unique and thriving music venues in the Boston area comes The Bebop.

Situated at the intersection of Boylston and Mass Ave, next to the beating heart of music that is Berklee, The Bebop is primed to be a premier destination for musicians and fans alike. Whether you are going to a show at the Berklee Performance Center, Symphony Hall or a game in Fenway Park, The Bebop is a great place to start and finish the night. Enjoy our Guinness Lamb Stew or vegetarian Shepherd's Pie while listening to our live nightly entertainment.

Offering a full dinner and lunch menu from 11am-11pm daily, a brunch menu on weekends from 9am-3pm, and speciality cocktails, beer, and wine until 1 am every night of the week.

We actually went for the music offering at Bebop. We got there early planning on staying late to see the second band at 10:30. I really like bluegrass so we ordered some food and drinks. Unfortunately, even though there were three musicians, only 10 feet from us. You couldn’t hear them at all. I really didn’t get it? I’ve owned and managed restaurants in the past. I thought the concept was great. But if the audience is talking at such a level that musicians can’t be heard without amps then what’s the point? The food was not good. Admittedly, it was a combination of fried food, which I should’ve realized what I would get. The plan was to have a quick snack a couple beers and stay for the 1030 show. I checked out their menu the night before. We would have had entrees later but I just found it to be loud without hearing some great bluegrass. That has to be frustrating for the musicians too.

Had a lovely lunch at BeBop before a Red Sox game. It was a cute Irish pub with solid food and great service. Menu has all the expected options plus a few specials that were brunchy and looked good.

We came on July 4 in middle of a rainstorm. We were seated within 10 minutes and had the. Buddha Bowl and Fish and Chips plus 2 of their 4 choices of N.A. beer. The kale and all the veggies I. The bowl were fresh, perfectly dressed without wanting for more or being soaked. Chips were crispy (steak fries rarely are but these were!) fish was moist and not too heavily battered. They were slammed with customers yet service was efficient. I will definitely return. For us )in our 60s) music was too loud but for younger in our group they were fine.

First time there - great experience! Food was delicious, food and drinks very reasonably priced, server was kind, and live music was not so loud that you couldn’t hold a conversation. Easy walk to Fenway afterward for a concert. Would definitely go back!
