The Boatyard in Ithaca, New York, is a steak and seafood restaurant with Asian influences. Located right on the water, guests are encouraged to travel to the restaurant by land or by sea. Very few restaurants have a parking lot and a dock, and The Boatyard takes full advantage of its unique location. The Boatyard menu is a classic American steak and seafood restaurant, but with several items that take on a distinctly Asian flavor profile. For starters, guests can order both steamed littleneck clams with shallots and garlic wine sauce, or a tuna tataki with Asian slaw, a soy reduction and cucumber cream. The go-to steak on the menu is the Maker's Mark sirloin, covered with a bourbon sauce and served with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. Any fish option can be prepared miso-glazed, blackened, with mango salsa or southwest style.

We went for our 31st wedding anna. was asked when we came in if their was a special reason for coming tonight. Of coarse we told them and asked for a water view. It was not busy at this time was about 4:30 on a Monday . We were sat in the corner with a window behind us and blocked view corner on the other, we had to twist around to see the water. From there it got worse, we ordered an App. was fine then dinner I ordered a steak, my husband blacked fish. Food came out was cold, potatos ice cold veggie cold my steak looked like the cooked it the night before and stuck in the fridge, they got the sides wrong. waiter took back finally brought the fish and correct sides back, my steak still cold and not cooked to medium. The manager came over took all my food and brought it back 20 minutes later. my husband was finished eating while I watched and had desert before I got mine. Manager discounted the dinner, but we can never get the night back!!! Worst dinner ever. Thumbs DOWN.......
