    Great service here. The staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is so much better than pub food but at pub prices. A great local. Have been happy here on multiple visits.

    It’s one of my favourite local restaurants/bars. Terrific service, comfortable, not too noisy and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone and I love how they offer a daily special. They don’t offer tea or coffee but recommended we get takeaways from a cafe a few doors up and bring them back. The team certainly know a thing or two about keeping their customers happy. Well done 10/10

    Once again we were treated to faultless service from the wonderful staff at Carpenter’s Ruin, such delicious food and wine at very reasonable prices ($18 burger night- easily the burgers in St Kilda). I can’t believe how lucky we are to have this place as our local! Run don’t walk.

    Warm, friendly service. Food arrived piping hot and quickly. Great range of drinks. As locals, we value the offering, price and quality of what the good people at The Carpenter's Ruin provide. This was our third visit and there will be many more.

    The staff were so upbeat, happy and friendly it made our experience really enjoyable. The pub had a good vibe without being noisy. The music was at a good lower volume so we could talk and not shout. The food was really good. I had the yummy lamb pie. It was a good venue to meet old friends for a catch up. I even managed a car park out the front.
