The Gathering Table never disappoints! The staff are always friendly and very accommodating. The food & cocktails are delicious! Brunch here as become my favorite in town.

I made reservations 2weeks in advance for our 28th wedding Anv. and the option we had was inside or outside. I chose inside so when we arrived I was provided 2 options of seating both against a long bench along the wall. I asked if we could sit at a high top by the bar and the hostess was quite rude and said those were already reserved and again my only option was against the wall. I was confused since I was not provided the option at time of making reservations and the high tops were empty. The hostess also never asked if we were there for a special occasion, I feel the restaurant missed out on making the experience a “memorable moment”. Other than the hostess without the mostest, the food was unique and delicious!

Wonderful birthday dinner. Cheese Plate, Garlic Noodles, Chicken Wings, Sliders, Chocolate Cake, Panna Cotta . . . all delicious with appetizing presentation! Fresh, farm to table, flavorful. Great fusion of French and Asian cuisine. Energetic yet relaxing ambience. Friendly staff, attentive and helpful. Restaurant is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We were seated indoors, clean premises. Looking forward to our next meal at The Gathering Table.

There’s always a new taste treat at the gathering table. This time I thoroughly enjoyed the green bean salad and the garlic noodles. I loved everything else I had as well, but they were the things that I always get. I can’t be there without having the cod or the cabbage. Thanks to all involved in making a great evening of delicious food.

Everything at the Gathering Table was lovely... the ambience, the staff, the food, the wine... Chef Budi Kazali was kind enough to make recommendations before we ordered and also checked in after we enjoyed our meal. I look forward to returning.

Budi Kazali’s menu is brilliant Asian-Wine Country-California fusion. The Thai Tea Bread Pudding and Budino dessert were innovative and delicious. The cocktails were superb…Espresso Martini and Gin drink with St. Germain were both strong but delicious with flavored nuance. Lamb, Black Cod, Salmon…all with beautiful sauces. Can’t say enough. LOVED IT! Best restaurant in Solvang.

Excellent flavor combinations. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower appetizer, a ribeye , Thai noodles with pork belly, salmon. Great cocktails. Good service. Lovely place.
