I had the Sea Bass and it was very good, I tend to drink a lot of water and had to try and get the waitress attention to get more. She was great and made really good suggestions,

Haven’t been to this restaurant for several years. We were surprised by the interior renovations- very pretty. Was super impressed with valet parking as trying to find parking in Lambertville on a Friday night is especially challenging. That was definitely an added bonus!! We sat outside that was very comfortable on an end of October evening with the lovely fire pits and overhead heaters. Had a new server who could’ve known the menu a bit better . We started with a wedge & the butternut squash soup. Soup was lukewarm warm and a bit lacking in flavor. Wedge was good. Took a while for out medium rare burger and fries. Burger came out rare and the fries seemed to have been ready and sitting under warmer . Fries were overdone which was disappointing. Ended with pumpkin cheesecake which was good. Also Had the fall sangria which our server couldn’t really explain so I tried it anyway. Not a cider person but I drank it. Happy to see they use proper martini glasses vs coups which so many places are doing now. Martini was very good. Overall a positive experience and will try again.

Late lunch on a Friday. We probably ordered too much food. Kansas City steak was huge, and delicious. Sea Bass and mashed potatoes also excellent. Short but thoughtful winelist. Outstanding service: friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable, efficient.

Food and atmosphere was amazing. But our server rushed us out which was so annoying considering the price of the meal (we spent almost $400) and how nice everything else was.
The HawkeRespondió hace 4 días
Jackie, although I am happy to see you enjoyed your meal & the atmosphere I am deeply disappointed to see you felt rushed. Please know this is not up to our standard and we will be sure to get to the bottom of this. We hope you will give us the opportunity to make this up to you. Thanks so much.
