We had a lovely meal. The menu is excellent with good choices for vegetarians. The wine list is great. The service was really friendly. A great night out.

Delicious meal and even better desserts. The charcuterie board was just a plate with some salami and prosciutto, which was disappointing, but other than that, everyone enjoyed the food very much.

Overall, an excellent experience: the staff who looked after our food orders were particularly attentive (5 stars for sure) , although initial drinks were somewhat slow in arriving. My only serious negative is that there was background music that was intrusive and not conducive to having a calm and relaxed meal with easy conversation. This does, it appear, to be the 'modern trend' !! But it is a trend I, and all our friends, equally abhor. On this occasion, we managed to geta table as far from the music as possible, which did restrict its influence to n acceptable level. A good range of food options, which were very well cooked and presented.

Really great local pub, beautiful outside views of the common and really lovely style of bar and restauranrt inside. Food and drink selection is excellent, service is also great. Would highly recommend for casual drinks and also the great menu on offer.
