Lovely food, we had sirloin steak and duck which was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent and the view of the lake and fells was stunning

Im our opion, there are good food and cheaper restraunts in the town. There is a Christmas package on offer, I wouldn't recommend it. The Hotel, great location, great rooms and great staff,

Had a lovely meal and staff were attentive and welcoming,highly recommend the food and accommodated my menu changes without any effort

Arrived , our table was ser in front window overlooking the lake. We all choose the coffee unfortunately wish we picked Tea, not nice at all . Foos arrived afternoon tea, couldn't fault that, 3 lots of sandwiches, scone ham and cream and an array of cakes. I would definitely recommend very good value

Its our first stay at this hotel and we would definitely recommend the staff were friendly and the restaurant had a great view over the lake, The food was excellent both in the morning for breakfast and the evening meal ,I would definitely recommend

A restaurant with a good view of the lake, set in old style decor. Food choices were very British from the 1980s, but nothing to get too excited about. Staff friendly and good service.

Food excellent, staff great, only complaint I have was being charged a service charge for a bottle of house wine, never happened before in other hotels, a bit cheeky for just taking a screw top off 😳

The dinning room was closed when the booking was for lunch in the restaurant. We were offered the lounge with occasional tables, which were set for afternoon tea. The other option was the terrace, which had wrought iron furniture, that had seen better days. Again the table was laid for afternoon tea, which was wrong. The menu was a very limited to pub grub again not what we were looking forward to. I wanted a fine dining experience and was bitterly disappointed on all fronts.
