    Of course, I am biased. Prime rib night at Trappers Lake Lodge! My portion was perfect, just enough to not want to push being stuffed with dessert. Although the desserts have been worth the stuffed filling! Beautiful scenery, great service, and great food. I prefer non-creamy horseradish, but even the creamy horseradish hit the spot! Well worth the drive!

    We drove the 70 miles from Steamboat Springs to The Lodge for lunch and saw some of the most impressive leaf turning ever. The last 40 miles are on unpaved roads but they were well maintained. We had the cheese sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich and they were both very good and filling. But the highlight of our lunch was the fabulous peach pie, homemade, serviced hot, with ice cream. It was so good that we bought a whole pie to take home. The rustic restaurant and the fresh mountain air adds to the ambience. This was a day trip for us that we will always remember.

    As always excellent staff and delicious food and beverages. Of course, mingling with the trout at the southeast corner of the lake was our draw but meals were an awesome side event and not disappointing as always!

    The Lodge was a great choice for dinner after a day of hiking near Trappers Lake. The food was excellent and we enjoyed great service. I'll be sure to come back when we are in the vicinity again.

    Very friendly service and good food. If you have doggos sit outside, order them a pup patty, take in the view and enjoy the eclectic playlist.

    Trappers Burger with a side of bacon jam: BEST BURGER EVER Great view from the porch. Hummingbirds all around. Also thanks for the Non Alcoholic beer suggestions
