Since 2014, The Miller of Mansfield has been home to Mary and Nick Galer, host and chef patrons. Both former team members of The Fat Duck Group, at The Miller they bring you their take on elegant food, personally selected wines and effortless service. We encourage you to savour every Miller morsel in our cosy and characterful inn nestled between the Berkshire Downs and the Chiltern Hills in the beautiful village of Goring-on-Thames. Our service ethos is: eat what you want, where you want. So make yourselves at home.

The Miller of Mansfield was shortlisted for specialist award Front of House Team of the Year at the 2018 Top 50 Gastropubs, for Best Newcomer at the 2016 Cateys, and was acclaimed Good Food Guide Readers’ Restaurant of the Year 2016.

Imaginative and delicious presentation of food, though a bit too salty for me. Nice staff, friendly and helpful without overdoing it!

Very nice pub restaurant, in attractive village on the River Thames. The fine dining food was very delectable as was the wine. I had trout for my main course. Everything about the experience was very good from the front of house to the attentive waiting staff.

Went here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Food was great in a lovely setting. Very reasonably priced also.

Had casual lunch here and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very nice and the little extra touches are nice. Great gastropub in a cute village would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch. Very Covid-secure but still with attentive service and a great atmosphere. Food is extraordinarily good!

We have been here twice now, once on our own and once with friends. We will return! All Covid measures in place, lovely staff, great food and a nice buzz about the place without it being noisy. Thoroughly recommended.

Great quality food and excellent service. Somewhat lacking in atmosphere but this is due entirely to proper spaces between tables and other Covid related restrictions.

The restaurant is in a lovely village, it is tastefully decorated inside. The food is of a high quality. The service was great. I found the menu limited for fussyeaters.
