Welcome to The Mountain Room. Portland Chef Harding Lee Smith & staff are back for another unforgettable season at Sunday River. Using the best of Maine centric purveyors as backbone & honored by USA TODAY as one of the "Best Ski Restaurants", The Mountain Room is a can't miss experience. Located mid mountain at North Peak lodge, TMR mixes distinctive hospitality with tremendous views of the surrounding Mahoosuc Range.
Reservations are highly recommended. Due to high volume, please advise- Late reservations will only be held for 10 minutes. A season pass or day ticket is required to access lift. Please call or stop in with any questions. We look forward to serving you!

Great spot to grab a midday or last call apres ski, plus non-ski friends can meet you there. It was very loud though so be prepared.

Glad we finally got in before the season - and The Mountain Room - ends. We made a 2:45 reservation and when we stopped in earlier in the day to ask about someone coming up without skis, was told they close at 2:30. We were able to change our reservation to 1:45 but why the did they accept a reservation for 2:45???? We would have been so very sad if we showed up and they were closed, especially since I made the reservation weeks ago. Anyway, food is a bit fancy - but good - and the drinks selection very good. Service is great!

We loved it!!! Food and drinks were amazing ! We highly recommend it - hard to get the reservation though :)

This is by far the best restaurant in the Bethel Newry area. Beautiful view ambience and service. It never gets old

Fantastic spot at the top of the mountain! Great beer and drink selection, a really solid menu with lots of appealing options, and excellent service from start to finish. The ambiance was perfect—fun, lively, and relaxed—with great music that added to the experience without being overwhelming. A perfect place to grab a drink and unwind after being on the mountain. Will definitely be back.
