The Point brings the thrill and robust flavors of open flame cooking with the freshest seafood in the city. Perfectly situated at the confluence of the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, our contemporary design, tranquil open-air patio and premium fire pits, compliment the picturesque and panoramic views. Although we cannot guarantee outdoor patio dining for all of our guests. We will try to accommodate as many requests as we can on a first come first serve basis.

    La comida llegó cruda a la mesa, y el tiempo de espera fue largo. El sabor estaba bueno, pero no tuve una buena primera experiencia. No volvería a reservar en este lugar.

    La hostess me hizo mala cara al llegar por que la cocina la cerraban a las 10 pero la reservación la puse a las 9:30pm. Entonces que no acepten comensales. La comida nada fuera de lo común.

    It was fair. The restaurant was understaffed which may have been a function of the time of day. Great location and concept.

    Food and atmosphere were great. I’m a resident of Ward 6 and I love the convenience of the location and parking is easy and reasonable.

    We’ve had great meals in the past at the point but not usually after a game. I’m glad we made reservations and got to our table quickly. Oysters were excellent and we wound up doubling up and adding a bottle of Chardonnay (which was reasonably priced. What I noticed was how the staff was hustling to accommodate a large crowd. No one standing still. Our server Darwin, was one of the best we’ve ever had, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, just made the evening great. We’ll be back.

    The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the ambiance would have been great if it weren't for the football game going on in the background with some loud reactions from others at the restaurant. Once the game ended, everything was good
