At The Provedore Café, we offer a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience that celebrates the best of regional Victoria.

Our menu features café favourites like stone-baked pizzas, fresh pasta, and vibrant salads, all crafted with locally sourced ingredients. We also showcase a selection of cured meats, cheeses, preserves, and pantry items from local producers, including jams from Kialla, pistachios from Wharina, and capers from Mansfield.

Designed by Cera Stribley, our space combines warm, textural elements with a down-to-earth atmosphere and can accommodate up to 146 guests. We aim to always provide a welcoming environment that reflects the authenticity and charm of our surroundings.

I have wanted to come here for a long time.i was so excited to visit. The cafe menu was small but looked pleasant. The pizzas were drowned in cheese to the point you could not recognise what pizza you ordered. We ordered 3 pizzas they all looked the same and tasted only of cheese. The pasta was tasteless and bland. No amount of salt or pepper I put could save it. I was so disappointed to drive all that way from Melbourne for such a underwhelming experience.

We are extremely sorry that the pizzas were so cheesy the toppings were indistinguishable and that your replacement pasta special (a recommendation of our staff) tasted bland and not to your liking. We would have loved the opportunity to ensure you enjoyed a different item off the menu that was more full of flavour and up to the standard you had expected. We were sadly underwhelmed by our breakfast at the Provedore Cafe. The menu was very egg based (a problem for me as I don't eat eggs), with the only non-egg options being a BLT or a muffin. I went the muffin, which had a single 1/4 strawberry in it and no other flavour. My husband's poached eggs were cold. We were seated near the door, which had a very cold breeze and a very slow automatic close mechanism which meant it stayed cold for longer. We needed to move, as did the next lot of people who sat at that table. The coffee, however, was decent.

The staff were lovely & the food was delicious as usual. Sitting under the beautiful vines was perfect on a sunny day.

Lunch with 6 adults, nice wines, food a bit underwhelming. Needed more flavours and larger portion size. Had to ask for our wine, as we waited approximately 10 minutes after ordering same. Explanation was that staff were delivering both food and doing the wine/drinks service. It was a Saturday lunchtime, should have had more staff on to cover the busy period.

The team was amazing.It was Mum's Birthday Celebration on Australia Day and the Staff really helped us celebrate. They really couldn't do enough for us. The food was great and everyone had a great time. Thanks to the Michelton Winery crew - Awesome

Beautiful setting, peaceful. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service. Our breakfast also excellent. Definitely be back.
