The Rolling Mill served amazing food that was tasty and well prepared. The service was phenomenal, Kelly was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience.

We chose the restaurant for its location in the Jewellery quarter - interesting and pleasant area. Parking no problem on a pay+display lot off Caroline St. We tried 3 different dishes - Vietnamese superfood salad, a pizza with unusual toppings and the French Dip Baguette. The vegetarian Pizza was the star, the salad ok, the Dip Baguette (with Cajun fries) very good. We did not manage to eat the pizza but enjoyed it instead for lunch the next day: proper crust, unusual yet enjoyable flavours. Background music a bit too loud for my taste, but conversation still possible without too much trouble. Staff very good, attentive, friendly, personable. The ambience (former rolling mill and tram depot) rustic but original, diverse options for seating (high and normal tables). Definitely a place we would return to.

Good looking renovation of an old industrial unit. Not great for accessibility for disabled customers though. Love the high ceilings and the service was very good. I had the veggie wellie which seemed overcooked and the parsnips were inedible. My partner had the chicken skewers which were better. Overall, though a nice venue for lunch, it was very overpriced. Probably wouldn’t rush to go back.

Great find in Birmingham jewellery quarter, don’t let the entrance into this place deceive you as through the back is a cavernous dining hall perfect for small groups, the food was great and the service was really friendly! Definitely recommend.

I’ve visited before for a bottomless brunch and was so impressed so returned with my friends for a belated birthday celebration. However, we were left somewhat disappointed- The service was a little slow for taking drink orders and then 30 mins into our brunch, you ran out of ice so some drinks weren’t able to be made or were served without ice so that wasn’t pleasant and we had to change our choices to just beer or prosecco. This was disappointing as we chose this brunch based on my previous experience and the variety of drinks so left us feeling a little flat. I’m not sure we’d return again.

Great waitress Kelly who attended to me and my Dad really attentively. Best pizza we had ever had, the chicken burger was spicy and tender and we were very satisfied.

Looks can be deceiving and from the front it was nothing outstanding. Inside was very different and light and airy. Service was attentive without being too much. Food was delicious. I had the chicken with an extra side of cauliflower cheese. My husband had to finish mine as there was so much. He had a beef burger and found it very tasty. Our friends had the lamp and pork loin roast dinner and raved about it also. A nice find and will return again soon.

Excellent service in fact the staff looking after our table honestly couldn’t do enough for us. I was a little disappointed that my lamb wasn’t pink but I have to say it was beautiful. My only small complaint is that our table was directly underneath the glass roof and although Sunday wasn’t as hot as it had been it was still very hot which was quite uncomfortable, however had I known I’d have requested a table elsewhere in your lovely restaurant and will know for next time! Thank you for a lovely experience.
